Here is the latest wallet source:

https://github.com/Kracko/ultracoin-2.git
I dont understand why a pool owner will publish the new wallet sources while Ultracoin team is still not doing it...
I will never get sources from a non official site, either https://github.com/dx11/ultracoin-2/tree/dev or http://ultracoin.net/wallet.html

Kracko is member of Ultracoin dev team. So what is the problem? Ultracoin team is doing a lot. Maybe you should read this forum?

i can not use source, i need binary!
as pbbly a lot of other users...

Our pool wallets have been updated and right now have the only chain that goes past block 855838.  Coins mined there will be valid and spendable once the exchanges convert their wallets over too.   The network is getting hammered right now with traffic because of the artificially low difficulty of the older version wallets that are still hung on that block and think that over 6 hours have passed without a new block.  Once everyone updates their wallets things should normalize.

I'm rescanning the chain for the block explorer ultrabex.com.  It will hopefully be current in the next hour or so.

Here is the latest wallet source:

https://github.com/Kracko/ultracoin-2.git

And here's the new Windows Wallet - http://www.tumblingblock.com/ultracoin_733_win32.zip

You will have to manually shut down your old wallet and it will take awhile to convert your existing blockchain data to the new format on the startup and also reindex it using leveldb.  This could take a few hours and it will appear to be hung.  Just let it do its thing.  You can peek at the debug.log for progress in this directory C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\UltraCoin.

Code:
md5sum ultracoin_733_win32.zip
e588e055f5767a45edb6e66a3092e283  ultracoin_733_win32.zip

I will be putting together a Macintosh wallet package as well, hopefully that will be finished by tomorrow evening.

Please be prepared to hard fork. Transactions will not be possible until your wallet software is updated.

Ladies & Gentlemen,

In light of the recent difficulty adjustment caused by a bad NTP server configuration in Ultrablockparty, this managed to skew the difficulty enough so that new blocks will be incredibly easy to find, but they are not being accepted as valid. There are two options, one, we wait around long enough for someone to eventually find a block that becomes accepted by the Daemon, which may be fruitless do to the difficulty and transactions will be suspended in the meantime. Or two, we move on with the next iteration of the new wallet and hard fork the blockchain. We are not looking favorably on option one, but in the meantime we are currently at work finalizing the new wallet for a hard fork. Luckily, this new wallet includes a difficulty adjustment feature that would have required a hard fork to implement regardless. Unfortunately, the prevention method didn't come quickly enough and the situation that occurred tonight was allowed to happen. In the future, this situation should never occur again.

Please stay tuned for the required wallet update, exchanges will be notified and the wallet software will be available ASAP. The blockchain may recover if blocks are found, we will continue to monitor the situation, however a hard fork may be necessary and we are preparing for such a scenario. Please keep your miners on standby for reconnection to the network, please keep some miners active to the pools to become active nodes if a hard fork is necessary. Your node may find a block and help in re-adjusting difficulty. Your assets are safe, we will work on the wallet and provide instructions, check back to the forum for further updates.

Updates
• 12:04 AM: Contacted all exchanges and let them know to expect a hard fork. Complication will not financially impact exchanges if they do not act. Coins cannot be traded until after the update.

• 1:15 AM: Hard fork successful, connected miners are participating towards forked blockchain. Updating ultrabex now.

Please be prepared to hard fork. Transactions will not be possible until your wallet software is updated.

@King_Pin

No problem, I am used to working under pressure! And I have considered setting up a phone line for just such a purpose. Maybe Skype messaging at a minimum?

Essentially the pool was simulating a time-warp, which is why the difficulty was yo-yo'ing, although without the actual exploit.

Also, Kracko has been working on the Android wallet and things are looking increasingly successful, so stay tuned!

Sincerely,

It looks like the clock time on the server is waaaaay off, that's what is messing with the difficulty. It might be what is causing the abnormalities. It may be your best bet to switch to utc.tumblingblock.com, utc2.tumblingblock.com, or http://utc.hashhot.com/ and keep checking back until we can get the server side issues ironed out.

The NTP server that ultrablockparty.com was pointing to is 7 minutes off of pool.ntp.org.  I've reset the clock manually and have stopped using the NTP server that the host has provided as it is clearly misconfigured.  We'll just have to tweak it manually until the provider can be persuaded to make a working NTP server available that is on the same time as the rest of the world.

This problem will have much less of an effect once we leave the exponential retarget that is in operation now and implement the new difficulty system that averages out over more blocks with the new wallet.

We had this issue before on a smaller scale, I am contacting the server host now to work on getting the issue resolved. I sincerely apologize if this has effected your mining operations.

But it is statistically not possible to have 3-4 less than 1 second blocks one after the other.
And this repeating itself over and over again!

Further more can you explain the more then double difficulty for a few seconds, than normal again.
How do you explain the increase in the networks Hashrate....

The blockfind cron runs once a minute.  It is very possible to find 2-3 blocks in that span and they will look like that until it updates.  There is nothing wrong with the pool.

We know its the pools address, but how do you explain the 0 shares, and the weirdly jumping up and down difficulty?

If it is 0 shares, how do I get my share, how do you know who mined what. This is impossible!!!
There are no 0 share blocks in the other pools!

Don't try to belittle the problem!

I just spoke with Kracko on the issue, that address is the pool address. Those are real miners, but the pay out is being redirected through the pool.

I guess I am not the only one seeing this weird difficulty.
Have you seen this:
Block          Finder            Time          Actual Shares
855728    unknown    12/04/2014 12:59:25    0
855727    unknown    12/04/2014 12:59:02    0
855726    unknown    12/04/2014 12:58:35    0
855725    unknown    12/04/2014 12:58:35    0
855732    unknown    12/04/2014 13:01:56    0
855731    unknown    12/04/2014 13:01:47    0
855742    unknown    12/04/2014 13:07:46    0
855739    unknown    12/04/2014 13:07:46    0

This has been going for a few days at ultrablockparty
This are real blocks, there are hundreds of them and they all point to:
Udy7KcixihH49FguNhB3XM7yKAhofyfiwS

THIS is definitely not normal!!!
If the displayed info is correct, and I read it correctly while we mine the hard blocks, some unknown entity is mining 0 diff. blocks!!!
