Dont remind me the rules guy. This is not my rules. This is moderators rules and i dont accept theese rules. If we believe the philosophy of bitcoin then we need to create new rules. Coz theese rules centralize but Bitcoin decentralize.

This is a centralised forum and there are rules whether you like them or not.

Everyone needs to say  his mind aboutthe rules. Moderators just create rules, delete posts and ban users? Is that all you do? If you moderator you have to solve my problem

You are free to speak your mind as is everyone else but your 'problem' is already solved as has been told to you several times: You can have a ref link in your signature. We cannot just change the rules to fit everyone else's wants and needs. I think most people prefer that ref links are not permitted.

Moderators have to serve public not to just ban users

That's not all they do. They also help - or try to - keep the forum in order and remove spam, which includes ref link spamming. If we allowed it it would just be thread after thread of check out this ponzi etc.

No I dont escrow anymore.
Dont spam here shorena. I am not talking to you

If you click on "my messages" at the top you can send a "PM" - as in personal message instead of public message - to someone, this will reduce the risk that another guest of this fine house joins in on your loud conversation.

-snip-
Dont remind me the rules guy.

They are free to do so.

This is not my rules. This is moderators rules and i dont accept theese rules.

You are in the private house of someone else. This house (bitcointalk.org) is very big and allows many guests. There are however certain house rules (hence this thread to collect them) and those that are unable to follow them might have an unpleasent encounter with a bad bear.

If we believe the philosophy of bitcoin then we need to create new rules.

You are free to create your own house that follows your own philosophy.

Coz theese rules centralize but Bitcoin decentralize. Everyone needs to say  his mind aboutthe rules.

Everyone is -within certain limits- allowed to say what they want.

Moderators just create rules, delete posts and ban users?

Yes, that is their duty, not so much the creation of rules though.

Is that all you do?

I am certain moderators also enjoy this house when they have time and follow their interests.

If you moderator you have to solve my problem

I dont like your attitude. No one here is your servant and no one here has to solve your personal problem.

It's only etiquette to label ref links as such and extra good service points for providing a clean link too. Post links to be helpful and not to manipulate others.

Exactly. They will almost certainly already have a site here so it's unnecessary and essentially spam just to create a thread to post your ref link. You can just put your ref link in your signature or website link.

Verified awesomeness ✔
Example ; i discovered btc-flow and started a topic with my ref link and non ref link. I deserve to share my ref link. Coz i discovered. But after me if someone tries to open a topic about btc-flow with ref link. It could be spam but not mine spam. But to me if someone want to share his ref link under my topic it s not a spam. Coz maybe people refer his link. This is peoples free willing . They choose every ref link what if they want or non ref link
Multiple threads about the same website are considered spam. Seeing that BTC-Flow has their own dedicated thread, everything else will be get rid off.

Before everyone in a thread or the entire site? You're unlikely to be the first person to post a ref link and if we allow per thread then everyone will just spam new threads everywhere.

bitcointalk forum belong to all of us.

That is exactly the reason you don't want to spam your reflinks. Gotta respect other users of the forum who couldn't care less, no?

Ref link is not a spam if i use it first before everyone. I can write ref link and non ref link so people choose what if they want. To me this is people choice not moderators

In a world of peaches, don't ask for apple sauce
Bump. Removed the question marks from a few rules as I encountered enough situations for me to fully confirm that those rules are still active. The list/thread is somewhat complete although good suggestions and new rules as they come out will be added. Made a few minor changes to the text (removed or changed) to reflect that.

Do you happen to have a list of changes? Improbable, I know, but I have to try Wink. It's for updating the spanish translation.

Yeah, would be nice for the german translation too. I can see there are no question marks any more.
Yeah, no question marks. I updated the text above the "Forum rules" title to:
Quote
The list is somewhat complete but I still will be adding rules as I encounter them. I'm open to suggestions on formatting, sources, mistakes, rules, removal from the list, etc.

Removed the text at the bottom of the FAQ, above the guidelines as questions are more or less done, unless I find a good one. That's it, I think. Haven't made any important changes so didn't think that a changelog would be needed.
