It is a much more easier and more safe. Because you don't need anymore submitting requirements regarding your information. But it doesn't goes that way. In their country the law needs to know the customer, so they need the requirements.
Yes, it can be more easier because they can't determine your information and details about your background because nowadays a lot of hackers here in where they can already determine your IP so it's not more safer to share those information.

KYC with a video call I think it is the right choice for now so that our face identity is recorded properly, but if we use documents to do the KYC process there will be a lie, those who try to do a scam will certainly try to send fake documents.
What will we not see in crypto?? Just when we're still battling with KYC/AML, it's been taken a step further by requesting video calls for KYC verification? Naa, I'm not doing it for no reason. If providing my documents isn't sufficient to complete a KYC process, then miss me with the investment opportunity and it's on to the next one! Video call for kyc does too much work, in my opinion. Besides, not everyone has a video camera. At kyc enough information is already required, so you should not overdo it and also demand video calls.
This is really good, I have encounter one of it. I think in this way, fraudsters and cheater will have hard time faking the KYC since this will be done live, some people says its waste of time but nope, if they have process to do it doing this live will be more faster than doing kyc document.
Well there are some people who are not comfortable of seeing strangers on video call, so for me I prefer a documented kyc rather that a video call, I just dont feel talking and live video calling to someone I dont know.

I think video call for KYC verification should be only used by crypto exchanges. Exchanges must do compliance with government's law so they need to carefully verify its users, video call can exclude frauds and edited images such as selfie, ID card, passport that used for verification.
I think the best way of KYC should be Video call. With video call, it will be very easy to detect scam in it and may also save time.
It will be more easy to spot cheaters but I think the team needs more workforce to accomodate all those who fill up the kyc but its hard to be done I think. Video call is a very bad idea. I think the community will not appreciate this. KYC otpishatki fingers. Now someone offers a video call. Better tighten measures for ICO developers so that we have less scam
This got to be a joke. Why would anyone accept a video call for some coins? Lol.The KYC thing is getting weird.
It is impossible, a project will need many people and resources to do it this way, and it will take a lot of time. And you still have to provide information. In my opinion the best solution is to have an intermediary that everyone can trust to implement the KYC process, ICO projects will rely on this intermediary without requiring participants to KYC again.

I am fully confident that this can be a very useful and promising technology for the further development of the crypto market. This approach will significantly reduce the number of scammers and re-establish the confidence of participants and investors in new cryptocurrencies.
And it can also take the chances of investors to had their identity to lose. Though I still haven't heard any ico that did this like it will surely be a hindrance for them to attract more investors. We have our own errands to run and doing videocall wouldn't be a good idea.
Otherwise, AML will do this as a mandatory but expect the lower traffic of investors.
This can be surprising having video as KYC as it's changing gradually, this can stand as a good verification but I really wonder how long this can be and I've also be involved personally in one and this can be so frustrating sometimes because at first it was difficult accepting my verification but as I see this is good because it will show I'm real with no multiple account, this is a new develop for verifying KYC because I wonder how many admin workers are involved and how many they can verify.

I don't like everything about KYC, cryptocurrency is not anynomous like it used to be. KYC is a government agenda to make it easier to find people who have crypto currencies and suspect them to do negative things. So, in the future I doubt the decentralization system that has become the nature of crypto currency, maybe in the future crypto currency will become a centralized system that is easily regulated by the government.
