As long as the team are also ready to do video call verification to prove the authenticity and been real not just some fraudsters then i as bounty hunter won't have any issue with that, but it is very funny how project team will require kyc from hunters while they themselves are yet to pass kyc? I wonder who are they fooling with kyc crap.
for the investor i think they will not agree for this one as well as for bounty hunters lol! if you don't like to upload your kyc then don't participate in their campaign-easy.. in the first place if the project is good to be true and the dev team are solid why not participate and pass your kyc?
The risk of kyc passage in the call is high because they can deceive or use other people to talk to you so that this situation is especially difficult as a lot of scammer and ask for a kyc to verify your account even with bounties especially if it's a shame do not try to bump it into bounties as they ask for kyc but there is also a bounty that does not ask for kyc to be careful so that you can not get bounty or ico scams.
I am positive about VIDEO KYC verification, it protects ourselves against ID abuse. But it takes around 30 minute, so it is not only about sending documents but you have to reserve a time.
As you know video call is safe way to verify users or persons but for bounty hunter only documents uploading kyc should be allow.

Nothing is impossible in this space but can it be sustained in the long run? Using Video calls to perform KYC is easy, but how long can a team take in order to successfully complete the verification? In most cases where we have to only uplpad our documents, it takes the team in line forever to verify us not to talk of doing a video call.
KYC has never made a video call and I am not going to make it. KYC testing is generally illegal for participants in an ICO bounty campaign. I do not think that many bounty hunters would agree to undergo a KYC test with a video call. These are additional difficulties and additional problems. Therefore, if a campaign wants to demand a KYC verification with a video call, I do not think that many headhunters will join such an ICO project. Therefore, it is unlikely that such a campaign ICO fundraising will be a success.
KYC should be about legal document and about our identity and i dont think KYC with video call needed. As long the document are valid, i think its not a problem for developers team and regulators. If they worry about document manipulation, i think there is a law can handle this activity

Already many companies that conduct ICO use various kyc applications through which we need to go through and there is already a system which is something like video kyc, so such programs now save very well from various scammers, but also these programs can be bypassed very easily.
Video call for KYC verification looks too much, but i can understand why exchanges and projects want it sometimes. We all know there are a lot of people create a lot of multi accounts to increase their profits. There is not enough to download your id any more. Because you can download someone else id, and exchanges want be sure you is really your and have only one account.
Even if the video call is used, how can the exchange staff be sure that the user is not doing the KYC more than once? If you get a good makeup artist, it is possible to change your appearance and the staff would not be able to detect the fraud. I would still stick to the old method for KYC, that is uploading the identity documents and verifying them. But in this case, the risk is for the customers and not for the exchange staff. There is always a risk that the documents can be stolen from the exchange.
This will work but this type of KYC will take alot of time and resources(man power).Icos will be needing a huge team for this type of verification in order to accomodate their customers which surely be more than a 100 in a moment specialy if they are a big and hyped project.This type of KYC will be more secure for users because the company cant keep your records with them
I have heard that exchanges have taken such steps because of the inadequacy of the documentation. Personally, I have never experienced that. But it should be annoying.

If you have no problem with submitting your documents, then you would not have problem with a video call verification. It prevents the fake KYC submission as well as fraud submission.

Yes it is very possible to other campaign project. But majority of them are not implementing this system. Maybe this depend on the Bounty Manager who manage the campaign, But as far as I know KYC most of the time are only required to their investors not to their bounty participants, this is the reason why most of the bounty hunters are not in favor in this concepts. But if they hate it, just simply don't apply and ignore only.
I am not sure if it is worthy as it will really take time to do the KYC if it will be provided via video call. But if the team behind the project has the resources to do this kind of KYC in a short period of time then I guess it is a very good idea though.
But I am wondering if there are like 15k participants that need to proceed with KYC. It will surely take time before the KYC will be finish as they need also to assign what time they are going to do the video call as not all the participants are free anytime. In terms of apps, there are plenty of apps that we can rely on like skype and etc.

I think its not best solution for KYC verification, its took to much time just to verification, the company and the client must spare their time just to do verification, I just don't want to do it only for verification
sometimes that is also needed. if you are a trader, you might understand how you are really required to do KYC on every exchange you use. after all not all exchanges request KYC with videocall. You can choose your interests to trade.

I think it's too hard for bounty hunters. KYC with ID cards, ATM cards, text .... is more than enough. They are just employees, salaried. They are not investors and KYC by video is too much and not really necessary. Not everyone can use English well.
