You should have seen the original masterplan to arrive with a 8-ppl delegation, half and half, with silver engraved with our name (etc.etc.).

We are flexing our supernode muscle: I decided to project considerable force (including my presence) to another continent with approximately 60-hour lead time (from the idea to the operative capability in the target city). It took too great a toll from me and I ended up minding my own business here. I sent only a 2-ppl detachment to the Bay area, but they are my Ambassadors and have full authority to spend as many bitcoins as deemed necessary to subdue all, as well as I myself am subdued under the authority of Finnish government right now. Authority is a key if you want to do something cool (anything, really..)

I'd say that's just normal price oscillation between bids and asks. Taking another chart (M5 timeframe) they aren't even that straight.

The bottom of the channel was $114 for about an hour or so today, could have been the work of a bot working on small amounts. This was shortly after the 4K BTC or so Asl wall was set up on $114 which was bought into.

There's people who think Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme right now, back in 2011 it was hard to generate any creditability. And when the main forum gets defaced with CosbyCoins it was sorta hard to take it seriously. Lots of hacks, lots of stolen coins, exchanges disappearing, bitcoin wallet sites getting hacked, MtGox getting hacked, lots and lots of bumps in the road.

But like this most recent DHS stuff, MtGox gets their shit in order, everyone else checks how they do business, things get more secure, Bitcoin keeps on keeping on.

Sorry to say this but I'm laughing so hard at this story

but yeah... my new investment took a panic induced loss the other day when the dwolla news came out... sold and later had to rebuy asicminer shares at a much higher price.... was not great, (and I'm a massive idiot for doing it).

In retrospect thinking about the sentiment on this thread at the time, after about 3 hours of keeping calm and staying rational, I had enough and took the precautionary step of cashing out the shares and moving BTC (with upto 24 hours wait for move from cold storage) to my wallet... and I now realise I was heavily influenced by coinseekers desperately negative rhetoric, and frozenlock's desperate and glee filled desire to buy cheaper coins... even nearly missed the 0.035 BTC dividend!

I've worked for VCs in the past, and when doing due diligence on a company and I saw FF had invested in the leading competitor, I would count that as a HUGE negative to the company. FF brings a ton of resources to the table for Bitpay.
