there are 2 types of wallet at this time, that is wallet hardware and wallet software, wallet hardware likely to be more secure, my suggestion, if your fund is not really a big fund, I think MyEtherWallet is a very good choice for you. you just need to save the private key and json files on a safe place like SD card, flashdisk, or whatever it is. and never share to anyone.

For ERC20 tokens myetherwallet is the best place to store. But you have varies kinds of tokens don't use 1 wallet. When you log into the wallet better to use recommended ways. But for LTC myetherwallet is not a place to store. For store LTC we can use centralized exchanges wallets like bittrex, binance.

Hello friend. I agree Mew is the wallet for altcoins. To protect your wallet, You should bookmark the address and use metamask to unlock the wallet. Do not send private key.... good luck
I think that most crypto currency users use myetherwallet for their coins, since this wallet is almost the most secure and allows you to use it not only on computers, but also on mobile devices.

MyEtherWallet is always the best choice to store altcoins, but ERC20 token only. There're some other non-familiar wallets like NEO wallet, or Stellar wallet

What wallets should i use for altcoins? Bought some LTC not sure what's better
The most used ETH wallet is MyEtherWallet (MEW). There are lots of wallets for specific altcoins that use such as; Stellar, Komodo and NEO platforms.

Hardware wallet is the safest wallet that you may use for your bitcoins even altcoins. And i propose you to use trezor, which is highly recommended for those long-term holders. This device allows you to store of almost two dozen altcoins including LTC, and all your ERC20 tokens.

myetherwallet is suitable for the ethereum infrastructure. If you do not want to use it, you can download the jaxx program and keep many tokens together. As far as I know coinbase was bitcoin and ethereum. I recommend you to use jaxx to get various tokens.

I think that the best wallet is MEU because among so many different types of wallets the multicurrency is the most convenient option. Besides, I did not have any problems with it.

MyetherWallet is a widely used wallet . but its interface is not very friendly . i am used to using the Imtoken wallet . it is very intuitive to see the number and price of coins stored .

Myetherwallet is only for ERC20 tokens, Ethereum based tokens.
Do not send Ltc to myetherwallet, you will lose them.

I think if you use Myetherwallet when combined with a hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger, you will be completely safe, besides, it's convenient.

The wisest thing to do when you have mutliple altcoins is to use multiple dedicated altcoins wallets and store them securly on your hard drive. But its inconvenient and what I do is divide it into two portions.

Bigger sums I store in dedicated wallets and smaller sums i keep online on Cryptopia account to make it avaliable for conversions. I know its not the wisest thing to do but so far everything was ok and the sum is not very big.

Undoubtedly, if you invest in ICO or work with bounty companies. then of course MyEtherWallet will be the best free solution, for more security and convenience of the wallet you can integrate it with Metamask. But the most reliable way to store your coins and tokens is of course a hardware wallet. But the only drawback is of course the price, but the best version of the wallet in my opinion, focusing on the price and functionality is of course Ledger Nano S.

The best wallet for altcoin is the MyEtherWallet. MEW is the best and safe wallet that you can you in saving coins as well as the token. I can assure you that MyEtherWallet is really secure. It is good to use especially if you have a large number of altcoin. If you are looking for a safe and secure wallet I recommend you to use MyEtherWallet. Be a responsible one so that you can avoid any risk. MEW is very easy to use in sending coins even receiving.

I take all the coin and tokens I take into the LEDGER. This is the safest way I think. Otherwise I can not secure it. I do not trust the stock market.
