To avoid the bad things that will happen, first investigate projects that you think are good. Investigate the authenticity of the data they provide, whether valid or not. Next, monitor the team process in making sales, select projects that have achieved softcap, and active teams in providing the latest information. It does not guarantee that the project is legitimate, but at least you have reduced a lot of bad risks that might happen to you. So the time you have given is not wasted.

Doing some bounty nowadays it has the same speculative as make money investment on it. Yes at this moment lot of project are failed to make great result, even some of it resulting none. But at least we can support it when we are joining some campaign & we wanna great result, not just only expect it to be successful but try to support them.
that's right bro. if we focus on bounty or airdrop. so much of our time will be wasted because there are so many bounties that are extended even some of them are late distributing the gift / tokens. so we must always see the development and news of the bounty that we follow from either the telegram or the like ..
I have joined 3 bounty programs: Egretia, Bitto, and Ripaex. Until now I just received the token from Egretia and Bitto but only Egretia's token has value.

3-4 months? I even reached 8 months and didn't get anything. but I didn't give up and always waited for the long-awaited token. be patient, I think market down is one of the causes of the slow distribution process and launching on exchangers, even though the soft cap has been reached.
I have had this situation many times. There were even projects that had a large number of investors and even collected Hard Cap fully and vseravno unpaid participants bounty. Now there are a lot of scam projects.
Personally, I take part in Amazix projects.
Well, I have very often been so , I think that you need to choose more projects and start doing a little more of them, especially if you run social networks !
I had almost the same, money will come bro, I started bounty in March and now I have only one token that is trading with good volume, others are waiting for better market 
I'm very used to this situation. I haven't been able to make money with bounty awards for quite a long time. The majority of the campaigns you participate in result in failure. Sometimes token distribution is happening but those tokens are not listed in any exchange 
Now many companies are delaying payments to bounty hunters. Probably waiting for a market reversal. It is foolish to believe that bounty hunters are able to bring down the rate. Most likely, this is done by early investors.
I hope so, but there is a flip side, the market may not turn around, which means the longer they wait the less chance that the project will survive at all. It remains to hope that the teams of these projects know what they are doing.
I have a similar situation. I have participated in 40 projects since the beginning of March, and guess how many projects paid me a reward? 6. Just 6 projects.
I was a part of korona coin signature campaign from the bountyhive portal after working of 3-4 months i get to know that ICO did not reached the soft cap and i was not awarded any thing....that has caused me depression now....how the hell i choose a good bounty...after doing some research users suggested me bountyhive is good and i got this...what now...how to choose a good bounty that atleast pays somthing...some say good bounty managers but some of those campaign pays as well.....which ico rating sites are best for this please help....

This is the hard truth about bounty campaigns especially this year 2018, bounty hunters were not get paid either the ICO is a scam or didn't reach the soft cap. This might be due to the down market. Some say that regulations might change the way investors looking at the ICOs.
It's because there's no strong rules for this, the community remains uncontrolled and the cheaters remains unpunished except the red tag they got.However it's inevitable to say that the market that currently on its downtrend seeing the investment peolpe bring are going down this year.
not only on this community but also on other reputable sites that is related to crypto i noticed that they arent also filtering the scam from the legit one's . i guess that is part of the game , scammers do also earn this way and there is nothing we can do about it aside from depending on our luck when joining a bounty/ico .
@op you arent alone because we also experienced that . me myself do love to join several bounties and airdrops at the same time but i dont really expect that all of them were going to paid me . sometimes limiting our expectations is the best thing to do in order to avoid disapointment .
similar stuff has happened to me also, and in some cases I worked for translation bounty and believe me.... it is hard to get nothing in the end...
I've also tried centralized bounty places like bountyhive, but those guys are worthless, they do not guarantee anything and in the end they are much less transparent than BTT regular bounties... they control everything and you just have to trust .... (reminds me of the problems that brought me to crypto and blockchain)
I started being more and more selective...but it is really hard, I think that in some cases it is pure luck ... for example I have worked 26weeks for bitschool and in the end it failed... and it was a really nice project...
there are also the cases in which they pay you but the coins will forever be worthless
