true success for me is when i am able to achieve my dream and can enjoy it with my family. and able to share with others. create a harmonious life and make my life colorful and full of happiness. because actually we have a dream is because we think that if our dream is achieved then we will be happy. so success for me is happiness. because the hard work we do to achieve something is because we expect happiness in it.

God is great
Success and achievement go far beyond money, recognition, wealth and status.
You can have billions, but be absolutely not happy.
What may seems to be success to Mr A can be different thing to Mr B that cant be seen to consider to be success. I think what ever can makes us feel a goal is accomplished is success. To some persons to get rich can be a goal and if it is accomplished it can be considered to be success,  success is beyond money, it is a goal in life that's is not just achieved easily. Their is no particular achievement that can be pointed out to be success,  success comes in different forms.

With everything that is happening in our lives, it's always going to be about trying to convince each other that this is the kind of success that we all want. But it's different for every person and the upbringing of people.

There's also a factor that you can be successful at a particular time, like graduation. You are victorious and fulfilled at that time, but it's not always going to be forever, that feeling of "success" you feel when graduating. It is a part of you already, and it will be on to the following reason to fill your "success feelings."

We can talk more about how people tend to get a rejection, like how you will handle it and process the following. Many people say a lot of their failures before their success, and that's going to be a part of you as well. What you are going to do with it is going to be how your attitude will be

CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.

One thing money, it brings people around you which brings you power, fame and respect but sometimes but these doesn't equate to being happy, it is possible to have all the money in this life and still battle with health problems, look at Chadwick Bossman who acted Blackpanther, he had the fame, not too rich but he was more than average and he was been paid well enough but what happens at the end of the day, he died of cancer because it is something money cannot do.
Look back when Barack Obama was the president of America, we all know how famous and fame as being the most powerful man in the world but his daughter then was making the media of drug abuse and failed to raise happy children, sometimes we can not control these things.

Everyone loves to become a successful being but success definition differs for everyone. Most people see success as being fame and rich. Although money is a huge driving factor for a lot of things and an ultimate measuring stick for whether or not a business is successful but this doesn't fully define success. Success is about claiming and speaking up for what is important to you. Consider these and tell if they are successful

👉👉a rich and a famous man with a broken home
👉👉a rich and a famous man that has failed to impact on others.
👉👉a money corrupt rich and famous man
👉👉a ritualist with great fame.

Although this people are rich and famous but aren't successful at my own part. There is always a shortcut to riches and being famous but success comes through hardwork. There are many rich and famous people who have attempted suicides in their life. If being rich is being successful, then what made them to take such disastrous steps? Sanjay Dutt is a son of a famous politician and is one of the richest celebrities, Sunil Dutt. Still, he is behind lock-up. Is this what we call as success? Many gangstar becomes rich out of crime and corruption but they are not successful in our society. This is part of what causes increasement in crime rate and corruption in the world as everyone want to be rich so as to be called a successful being. A successful man is one who finds his purpose and creates a life where he can fulfill that purpose.

CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.
I guess success would be what makes you feel happy and complete? You can have all the money, but if you aren't happy, you aren't successful. You might have lot of fame, but if you don't have any money and struggle day to day which will make you unhappy, then you have failed to be successful. The same thing, you got an achievement, but no one recognizes it and you have no fame at all, and if that makes you unhappy, you failed.

Success isn't tied to anything, but your own happiness.

I think success should be measured based on the goals a person had, and success can be very different for different people. For example, I watched a video some time ago about a boy from my developing country who has Down's syndrome. He was really into history and his family had to argue for him to be allowed to pass general entrance examination to the university (our version of SAT). He was allowed to take the test, he scored high enough to get a scholarship to a pretty good university (in my country, scholarships are purely based on the grades you get), and during uni he also became a guide in a local museum. To me, this is a huge success because a person had serious obstacles, definite goals, and succeeded in overcoming obstacles and reaching the goals.
For some spoiled healthy rich kid getting into uni and doing some internship at a museum wouldn't be anything, though, and wouldn't be much of an achievement. So it's not just about the actions, it's also about what it takes for a person to get there.
I also agree with the op that success shouldn't just be about money or fame: IMO if one wants to build a healthy strong relationship with someone else and does that, it's also a great success.
As for objective things, I think we should focus on things that are making the world better or at least aren't making it worse when we talk of people as successful.
Thank you for this great explanation. I also read an account of a man that spent many years manually making irrigation for his community to have access to water. This poor subsistent farmer gave all his best towards this project and after many years the community got water because of his exploits. Materialism is now the order of the day. Now in my country, we see the youth having insatiable lust for luxury.  This is because society has thrown morality and good behavior into the waste bin and now people celebrate riches regardless of the means it was acquired.

As a parent and teacher, I always tell my children and student that the quality of life is not determined by how much you are worth financially but by how much you are worth morally. It is better to live modestly than to defraud, kill and do all kinds of nefarious things because of riches or famous. I can provide for my basic needs and have extra to contribute to my community, I consider myself rich. I set goals for myself and when I achieve these little tasks I celebrate them. Sometimes my little contribution helps my community greatly and they come and appreciate my effort. Fame will always come if you add value to yourself, your family, and your community.

When we talk about success, we often think of people who have a lot of money, a house, a car, and a stable job. But for me, success is when we accomplish a certain goal in life that we have set and in life we have many different goals to achieve.

We can earn a lot of money but we don't have good sleep, rush meals, hustle life because we don't have time, that's not success. Success is only when we feel satisfied and happy with what we have, not necessarily with too much money.

It's true that success can't be judged by money, because people who are successful in life are people who can live happily. Rich people who have
a lot of money sometimes their lives are not happy, because happiness cannot be bought with money. That's why a rich person is not necessarily
successful if he has not found his happiness. I think as long as we can be grateful for our present life and not be jealous of what other people have.
Those are all characteristics of successful people, so actually being successful can be achieved by anyone. Therefore, don't be too bothered with
other people's lives, we just think about our own lives. Because people's life goals are different, so everyone's success will also be different.
For now I feel myself successful, because I have everything I need in life, it all makes me happy in the end. So find our own happiness, then we will
get success. Because we ourselves know what can make us happy in life.

In different societies and cultures, success can mean different things to different people. I'll concentrate on it means to be in several African civilizations where social media doesn't dictate the norm. Following personal conversations with certain west African chiefs, the following is what success looks like:
  • having the largest herd of yams, flock of sheep, and goat herd
  • having more than two or three spouses
  • having a sizable family home and a sizable compound for the kids to play in
  • having a sizable domestic staff
In several tribes of West Africa where social media doesn't dictate norms, this is the most basic definition of success.

success is a word full of dreams that must come true and feel peace in the heart who finds it and those who are close to him will also feel it
whereas a satisfaction is an imagination full of unlimited obsession and approaches to a greed and avarice
I myself assume that successful people are people who feel happy and at ease when they see other people feel happy and peaceful, people who can benefit others, not take advantage and take advantage, if so then the person will be satisfied with the achievement of life as an honorable human being. in the eyes of the world and remembered as a hero who will always be a story

Success is typically defined as achieving everything for which you strive hard and produce positive outcomes and I think the genuine definition of success is living a life of contentment, good health, and being loved. Success, in my opinion, is not just about wealth and recognition.

This is exactly why I always define it as "happiness". It doesn't mean any of the money or fame or achievement or success, it means if you are happy then you are doing the right thing. I understand that it could mean that you could be famous and be happy, that means fame is the answer for you, or you could be not famous but rich and be happy and that would be yours, or you could be none of these and be happy then it must be something else. As long as you are happy, that means you did something right and nobody else told you what to do, you did it yourself and found the thing that made you the happiest in the world.

This is a very important topic, it is very common that people let others decide what is success for them and how it should look like, and this is a big mistake, the only one that should define what success means for you is yourself, because no one knows as much as you do about yourself and what are you expecting out of your life, so by letting others define what success means for you you're giving them an incredible amount of power in your life, which is why there are so many people that outwardly may look to be incredibly successful and yet they are living lives of quiet desperation.

What I've learned is you always have to sacrifice something for your success. You either won't have a stable partner, or won't have children, or will have children but you won;t have any connection with them, or you won't have friends , only subordinates... You can't have everything.

I have a few friends with different material status and I can tell you that those who have less money and a nice home feel better. I even have a friend who doubled his pay in exchange for a harder, more demanding work. After a year he's thinking of switching jobs again to something where he'll earn less but have more free time. You need to keep things balance or or you'll burn out too fast.

Intention - effort - success. 2 out of 3 is the process, while the last one is the result. This means that success is the result of a process that you do that begins with intention and effort. Whatever that is.
I agree with your explanation, I seem to think. I once said that success is subjective because I think the results will differ from one person to another. Apart from money, I also think that someone can be successful when they reach the expected target.

For example about crypto, when someone manages to achieve a short term target or a long term target for their investment then I think they are successful people. Back again to the basics, success is subjective from one person to another.

Success and achievement go far beyond money, recognition, wealth and status.
Exactly, although money, recognition, wealth and status can be good measures of success, it is not success itself. Currently the biggest way people quantify success is by financial gain (money), this can be misleading as money can still be gotten without aim and purpose achieved. Hence, you cannot say it success because it does not agree with definition of success according to oxford which defines success as the "accomplishment of aim and purpose".

I agree!
Regarding money, I will repeat one thought, I consider it one of the key ones for the modern community. It sounds like this: "Money is a wonderful SERVANT, but the most disgusting OWNER." Because of this, money cannot be the goal of life ... More precisely, you can bring yourself to the state that money is the only measure of success, status and so on, but this is primitivism.
But the presence of "a large number of good helpers" in the form of money can be an indicator that everything is going well for a person, he achieves his goals, life brings satisfaction. But this is not a mandatory indicator of success Smiley

I agree with you on this point. Real success is contentment and acceptance. It is not necessary to have a lot of money and be rich in order to get happiness. The important thing is to be satisfied with what you have achieved in your life and this is the measure of success, but this varies from person to person, some It is enough for him to get his needs and the needs of his family to feel satisfied, but others want to get cars, real estate and a lot of money to feel satisfied, and others do not feel satisfied even if they have great wealth and keep asking for more.

Success is subjective, it's not all about big things but the small things that you manage to achieve can also be categorized as success.
There are many meanings of success that we can read and understand because success is the last ladder of every effort you make. I agree that it's not always about the big things, but the small things that we can achieve also include success. But if success is associated with economic status, then I believe the richer you are, the more people will say you are successful even though you are never satisfied.

Intention - effort - success. 2 out of 3 is the process, while the last one is the result. This means that success is the result of a process that you do that begins with intention and effort. Whatever that is.

Success might be too broad for others but for me, success is just being happy. We could have money, fame, and lots of achievements but still not be happy. For me, the true definition of success is contentment and gratefulness for the things that we have. We might not have a perfect life but if we're grateful, we will be able to appreciate the simple things that we have achieved. It's fine to chase for our dreams but we should still focus on the things that would make us happy.
