there are a few things you will need to master before you start trading for real

1) Learn to read the charts (candlestick). This is the most important skill that you will need in order to trade successfully. Know how to spot a trend and a reversal.

2) Trend is your friend. Never trade against the trend. Once you can correctly identify the trend direction, you can easily and safety buy the pull backs as long they occur within the major trend.

3) Have a trading plan .Many times things do not occur as your prediction ,you will have to cut loss quickly.Remind do not rush into making a decision or allow your emotions to take control of your trading.

4) Do not follow the news. Many atimes , prices do not follow the news but rather news follow the price.

Most important skill of being a successful trader is having control of your emotions and be disciplined in trading.NEVER EVER let your emotions take control of you. Once you master that, you are on your way to be a successful trader.

You should learn first how to trade in or how it works, then study or do some research about the coins you want to trade in. But don't place all your money in one coin so that if something bad has happen you will not lose everything. And if you lose, learn from that experience so that it won't happen again and instead you will be able to earn more profit. And the most important thing you must learn is the virtue of patience to be successful in trading.

Trading is not for newbies who don’t read,, who don’t effort to learn and most important who doesn’t have patience.. It isn’t a game but a really serious job that requires knowledge to the coin and best trading site you prefer.. And by the way always be careful on phising site and must bookmark the right one.. Be ready to loss and don’t be disappointed because it will teach you a lesson through experiencing it..

If you are going to do a long-term holding, you should learn to be patient because patience is required if you want to have a good profit. Impatience is related to the emotions. If you master to control your emotions, you will be able to come up with a wise decision; either buy or sell.

You also should learn how to organize your time in trading. If you already have a job, focus on it and postpone trading for the night or for another time. Moreover, have your time to study the market and the majority of coins and ask experts which coin is highly sought by traders.

I find this website very useful www.stockcharts.com/education/
But since you're making this question in this forum, you might need much more than that. An expert might be of great help.

you should first try to develop your skills through demo trading and if you are able to actually show profits in demo then you should put a very little amount of coins that you can actually be able to lose and then from there you are good to go.
Another thing that you will need to do is to be able to control your emotions during a bad position and this always make many newbies to sell there coins at a losses.

It is the right thing that you do ask here before you go to trading. What you must do is to look for a coin which is the best for trading, you must consider these things, the volume of the coin, total supplies and circulating supplies of the coin, and look for the chart of changes in price. You must be wise when it comes to trading. You must learn about the coin you want to trade, join on their telegram or slack for you to ask them what is their plans for the coin or token.

I want to tell you something simply,BUY LOW AND SELL HIGH this is you have to know if you want to trade.Try to buy the coins when the prices are falling and sell them at the bumps. But most of the traders are doing it oppsitely buying whrn the orice increasing and sell then in panic when the price crashing.
That's the most important thing in trading . Many new traders fall for the hype and think although the coin is at the top right now it's going to increase more . Well surprise it's either going to start correcting from there or will on increase a little bit more then dip . Also learn to control your emotions and don't just jump on the bandwagon ,because others are saying so. If it's not low never put your money in . When it dips and you are at loss don't sell immediatly try to wait and see where the price is gonna settle and if there are any support base that could make the price bounce back.

Very excellent point you have chosen for discussion.  It is better to know possibilities of mistakes at earlier stage so that we can avoid making those mistakes.  I also  had these points in my mind when I started trading.

Few points are there which we should keep in mind while trading.
1. Control the emotions.
2. Avoid over buying
3. Don't be panic when rates go down.
4. Wait for good time to come
5. Don't take more risk than your capacity

I suggest you to follow some trading signal, sometimes their prediction can be your extra information to help you to decide
I do not agree for following others' signal. Because it may lead to disasters as no one could be perfect and if some delay happens for signals to arrive then the possibility of making profits also will be decreasing. Having own analysis to generate signals must be the right way. Learning technical analysis and then generating signals is not too hard task for anyone.

The only thing that  people on this forum always forget (usualy everyone say like "just fund your account and everything will come with experience") is that you need to know something about the charts and indicators. Knowledge about the basis of the technical analysis will be enough. Those kind of things is the same in all markets and there is a lot of forex lessons in the internet that can help with this. And then you can analyze coins and start trading.
