It is true that disappearing of bitcoin is impossible , but I think your second sentence is confused, as it is not true if bitcoin stopped then internet will be stopped, but if internet stopped then bitcoin will stop, because internet is independent to bitcoin.

Above quote describes the growth of altcoin over our bitcoin. I would like to know about the altcoin which has experienced the same growth as bitcoin, also need to know the largest survival period of altcoin. In my opinion bitcoin would never disappear even if those altcoins disappear.

You could not get the finances for such a job.Orginal post, I'd do what I always do. BTC does not play that bigger part of my life for it to effect it in anyway should it disappear, not that it will.
If your life is dependent only on earning from bitcoin then only god can help you, as it is very risky and not affordable to depend only on bitcoin for living.
If bitcoin disappears then I will wait for some other new crypto currency which can take care of my future investment, but I don't think that bitcoin will disappear this soon.
