pump and dump system is natural for crypto market but sometimes investors as well as Crypto holders get disappointed when then found that particular cryptocurrency Dumped a lot from the price he bought. This situation makes people worry and afraid for future and some may do panic selling for save rest of fund. So it it wise to choice potential altcoins what you already did op, where those altcoins are already recoverd even pump a lot meanwhile after share your thoughts. Well, I bought some fractions of Bitcoin at the price of $30K, ETH at $2,100 but unfortunately they have been going downward since then. The bearish trend in the whole market is still prevailing, which greatly impacts on coin prices. Despite the bear market, Bitcoin is still holding on its ground with its price not fluctuating over the top. However, the altcoins are becoming more volatile than before and I begin to doubt whether investing in altcoins is a wise choice. Did you invest in altcoins ? The altcoin market is currently in a good trend. For those of you who have bought several altcoins at that time and are still holding them until now, now you can get a satisfying profit because the prices of several altcoins such as ETH are now above $2k. Even though the increase in altcoin prices is not as significant as BTC, rest assured that soon the altcoin market will pump again and even have the potential to reach a new ATH level.
at the moment, only altcoins from the top have good performance; the rest are not in a big hurry to move into the green zone. I think now all attention is directed more towards Bitcoin and many expect big growth from it by the end of the year, and then we can expect good prices for other altcoins not only from the top.You have omitted one great altcoin that has been doing well lately, that's Solana. It price movement is more higher than the three you mentioned. Well, the point here is that most altcoin will definitely experience a price increment as BTC moves higher unless if the altcoin is a dead project.
I am not a supporter of altcoins but think people can still hold altcoins, lets look at the current market, the market is really favouring many altcoin without any obstruction, ETH and BNB is benefiting in the recent upsurge, I have watched closely and find out that part this two altcoin that I mentioned, there are other coins too that has shown appreciation in the market.
But for me altcoin doesn't have a place in my agender, I always advocate for more outreach for the acceptance of Bitcoin, Bitcoin has shown superiority in the crypto world and that superiority knows no boundary as far as the crypto market keeps existing.

Yes I have invested in Bitcoin as well as some Altcoins. I invested 90% of my investment in bitcoin and the remaining 10% in altcoins. If the price of Bitcoin increases in the market, the price of altcoins also increases slightly. You can invest in Bitcoin as well as invest in altcoins to a lesser extent. If you invest in bitcoins the risk will be low while in altcoins the risk remains high.

in my honest opion altcoins espashaly if thare code is baced apon bitcoin or lightcoin or eth would follow the ups and downs on the crypto is based on exsample doge was based on lightcoin so it follows lightcoin

I have not taken note of this before even though it may be true and I have to pay attention to see it for myself. Could this be the explanation to what the altcoin season is? I made a post on the topic What causes altcoin season? but I have not gotten a clear answer as to why we should have bull season that will be followed by altcoin season. Some people actually gave response close to yours but not exactly the same as yours. If I may ask, when do we expected the altcoin season in the present bull market? Do you think it will come separately from the bull market now? 
Of course, when we all want to invest in an altcoin, we have to rely on strong analysis and study every market price movement. you have got the answer now. You bought ETH at a price of $2100 and the current price of ETh is around $3800. Actually there is no need to hesitate to invest in altcoins if you invest in the right altcoin, and investing in ETH is the right investment. of course I invest in altcoins, although there are many altcoin investment options but I only focus on ETH and BNB because for me only these two altcoins are the most worthy of long-term investment.

But someone who doesn't have patience like that will just have to sell at losses and can no longer wait up to a year or even less than that. As much as you can see, the market is doing well as we've got some clue that it's into bull run and since last year, if someone is patience enough to understand that the halving is coming this year, he'd just hold and have nothing to worry about.

Its really hard to take that decision, as at that time the situation was uncertain and no one knew which project is going to come back and which isn't. In a bear market, all the projects are dumped to their lowest price but most of them don't come back when the bull market is initiated. So if the project is fundamentally strong and they are active in their social media, where they keep their community updated, then that is the project that deserves to be accumulated even in the bear market.

Correct, when the market is in an uptrend, don't buy in that situation; buy only when the market is in a downtrend. But of course, the only people who do this are those who understand crypto trading; that's how simple it is to understand.

Investment in altcoins is a wise decision and everyone should choose some altcoins for investment but more focus should be on top coins. As you have bought ethereum so if you still have hold your ethereum then it will give you more advantages right now.
Bitcoin and ethereum both are powerful assets and one who has patience once putted money into it never feel regret for their decision because they are always in profit. But may be you become afraid due to market Fluctuations but remember that these circumstances are good for buying more and more instead of feeling regret for it.
Every coin is highly unstable so it's up to us that how we takes benefit from it and how we use our patience in such an undesired condition. Ethereum and bitcoin are more volatile but they are also more advantageous than any other coin in overall crypto market so hold it and don't sell it during difficult time.
