The recent price drop of Bitcoin and some bad news on the market may cause a new round of FUD for investors. With the price going down, Bitcoin will be more volatile in the short term and the Altcoins that depend on Bitcoin will go through more ups and downs. In this bear market, more investors are hesitant to any Altcoin investment. Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins? Please let me know your thoughts.
Most altcoins have not been able to achieve consistent price stability and return to ATH levels. Even XRP, which is among the top 10 coins according to CMC data, failed to reach ATH levels during the recent bull season. Yes, XRP has been clamped by the SEC, but that's the general picture. I may invest in some good projects like ETH and ADA or some coins with solid capital backing like BNB for the medium term. However, my concerns are centered on the price instability of altcoins and this is reason enough for me not to trust them.
I understand entirely how buying those altcoins and watching them fail to return to their ATH must have felt. "Why are you doing this to me, dear altcoins?" is how it feels. Yes, XRP is also not a party. Its mired in controversy with the SEC, and that's only the start of the whole thingf
But, um, have you looked at other options? For example, there are ETH, ADA, and well-established coins with substantial capital, such as BNB. Investment is similar to fishing. You don't always land the enormous fish. You occasionally need to search for the little, sparkling ones as well. The same as those altcoins, right?
You dont trust altcoins because they seem a little shaky, then. That would be like not trusting the weather because it can change anytime! You ought to take another look at those altcoins. But hey, to each their own, you are free to follow your investment route
