We All Can Make It

Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? Please let me know your thoughts.
It is so easy to categorise over 2,000 different coins as altcoins because we are on BTT but in reality, that term should be outdated because we now have L2, Memecoin, NFT, Metaverse, DeFi etc.

I don't trust the developers of Memecoins enough to invest a fortune in it, so I usually hold back from investing in them. Meanwhile I keep searching for good Metaverse projects to invest in.

I am sorry but bitcoin was a dollar, and now it is over 25k, do you really think that the coin you are trying to shill could end up with 25k+ increase? I really do not think so, it's impossible. This is why it's hard to take them seriously as well.
I have invested twice in 2 different projects that made me over 1000x, and several times to projects that have made over 100x. Some of them actually paid 50x my investment back just with free airdrops later on. Those add up.

While it's given that you would have to find right ones and most of them are just going to ground, you most definitely can hit gold with those. Comparing them to eth and btc is a pipe dream, but sometimes it's better to gamble and buy some low caps. I speak it from experience from someone who has missed some serious boats and stiil found new ones.

I made most of my money from selling pumped coins that don't exist any more but also sold my eth when it was $12 because i listened to bitcoin maxis and thought it was overpriced and bnb when it was around $1 so i know something about regret.

The risk because it has more risky than bitcoin meaning in bitcoin there is a high chance if you held it for a longer period of time of getting profit is high but on altcoins, there are instances of getting die, devs walking out and owners going to dump it. Most of the controversies are in altcoin which a lot of people got scammed into it but on the bright side, you can earn more profit on it if got lucky to find the most promising project that is why people are spending a lot of time finding those reliable project to invest into.
That type of risk is something that many altcoin lovers keep on questioning. The most common thing that I keep hearing about is "if you thought low marketcap was risk, then you could have ignored bitcoin as well and look how big it get, what if this coin goes up exactly like bitcoin and you regret it?" and that is the most ironic comment I have ever seen, imagine considering the coin you shill could go up as much as bitcoin did.

I am sorry but bitcoin was a dollar, and now it is over 25k, do you really think that the coin you are trying to shill could end up with 25k+ increase? I really do not think so, it's impossible. This is why it's hard to take them seriously as well.

I still don't fully understand market charts, someone told me that in order to benefit from investing in altcoins is to be able to understand market charts or to be able to read the statistics on the movements of the invested altcoins produced by the market. this is what makes me not feel comfortable investing in altcoins for long. I think because I don't understand this, for me this is an obstacle to investing in Altcoins

I'm planning to invest in altcoins, since Bitcoin price is preparing to remain stable in the market because whenever the price of Bitcoin is pumping altcoins price will be pumping too to allow their investors to experience something good from their investment. The reason why I don't invest in altcoins since last year, is because the price of Bitcoin is not displaying any sign of bullish in the market to give Long and short term investors hope of investing in altcoins for future purpose. Now that the price of Bitcoin has increased to $25,235, showed that other cryptocurrencies price will increase also for traders to start expecting bullish market any moment from this month.

right now I'm investing in altcoins on matic, every time it goes down I buy it according to the support area which is good to buy in my opinion. until the price is $ 0.3 I got it too, so at the current price $ 1.2 actually I'm already floating plus as a whole, but I'm targeting investing in this polygon for the long term, and I can feel calm, hopefully in the future according to my expectations so that the plan can be for real business capital

You got a nice strategy out there, keep accumulating more when Matic prices go low and hold it until the next bull run. Many people won't feel calm in this bear market since the crypto market is really volatile but you can feel calm with your investment. Right now I'm investing my money in a few Altcoins such BNB and Ethereum since the bull market is near I don't want to miss the train.

Even so, you have to be able to determine when you stop investing in Polygon because if it reaches a point where the price of Polygon starts to get altcoin season, that means the price can start to increase. And if you continue to buy, you may get stuck buying at a high price.

Investing in Polygon can be an alternative among the many altcoins on the market but we don't know when Polygon will increase. Hopefully, when the altcoin season comes, Polygon can also increase and you can get big profits.

No problem! Currently I am just treading around Altcoins to just read around and not really planning to invest "just yet". Wishing luck to your project's progression!

I would look into your project when my vacant time allows me to do so. Smiley

What i learnt for several years is people is waiting the good moment to buy it even on this bear market situation. Some people already aware that bitcoin halving will happen next year so maybe they hold their fund to invest in later on next bull run. People are getting smarter they know the timing of investing in cryptocurrency.
Many people are eyeing for a bull run in that halving like they always do when Bitcoin halves as always. It's not like a really "smart" thing literally, and just a common scenario to happen.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Please stay tuned and we'll try all our best to provide a better project. I am sure our project won't let you down.  Smiley

Altcoins are best for providing higher return but instead of its benefit it is also full of risk because the price fluctuates very quickly. I think that we should believe blindly on new arising coins but those altcoins which proved to be profitable are really good to select. Altcoins offer huge income but not all altcoins are true to select for investment as it is risky and will disappear your whole money which you invest in it. Carefully select altcoins and never do investment prior to making idea and getting knowledge about it.

Where there are higher risks lies the bigger gains, nothing is holding me back from investing in altcoins, 80% of my crypto wallet consists of altcoins, I have different type of altcoins and my major target is GALA games, I keep buying every two weeks and j plan to hold up to 50,000 GALA tokens for the next bull market, I believe I will make a good amount of profits.

It's not just that it's the bear market but only few altcoins are worthy to invest with your money but if you want to gamble you can try those new altcoins in the market but proceed at your own risk. It needs a vast understanding and thorough research to be able to tell which one is worth it but it's still risky because even if you did some research there are coins that are good at short term investment. You just have to decide when to sell or you will be holding a lot of coins in your wallet with low value but I'd rather sell them anyway to at least get some of my capital fund.

I bought eth coins and bnb coins my friend said don't buy yet because the market is unstable there is a possibility that alcoins will go down because bitcoin goes down but I'm sure when I invest at that time the price of coins is going down and now I have made a profit even though it's small but I haven't sold it yet still holding it, I am very sure that I will get big profits.

First, I want to underline that every altcoin has someone who controls it or has a dealer. whether it's big investors or developers or from their own team. I like to see Altcoin movements as if there are market games by certain parties. for me this is an obstacle too i think

For me, investing in altcoins can be profitable even if it's a small profit.

In investing, capital and experience can make me choose which altcoin to choose, without seeing a decrease in the price of Bitcoin because some altcoins can increase in price even though the price of BTC is falling.

The recent price drop of Bitcoin and some bad news on the market may cause a new round of FUD for investors. With the price going down, Bitcoin will be more volatile in the short term and the Altcoins that depend on Bitcoin will go through more ups and downs. In this bear market, more investors are hesitant to any Altcoin investment. Apart from the macro environment factor, what truly holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? Please let me know your thoughts.
I'd say more downs for altcoins if Bitcoin will continue to go downhill. Well, the hesitation might be because of the fact that when bear market hits altcoins are the one to be hurt the most. I don't have anything that holds me back from investing into altcoins since I do hold altcoins but I hold back on those who doesn't have strong fundamentals that will make it out for the next bull run.
I don't think there are any barriers to continuing to invest in Altcoins, I prefer to invest there than in Bitcoin. As for what makes me feel at home investing in Altcoins, there are tools because I only have limited capital, by investing in quality Altcoins, I will get clearer profits. as long as I invest in ALtcoin it seems there haven't been any problems

Bitcoin is volatile , no more no less meaning if you invest in this then you should know that things like what is  now may happen continuously , and also FUD? only newbie had been affected by that because if you truly understand this market then fud will never come to your investment bracket.
instead you will keep trusting when talking about the strongest and most used currency in crypto world.
with 471 billion capitalization? is this a kind of coin that you think fud will take down?
