There are some following the steps such as Neo, waves, etc.. but it will be a long run for them to officially become a great competitor . For now they are just a second option.
I think the ethereum transaction process is very fast. and I also believe that the other option will not bo able to beat the fame of ethereum. because for me ethereum is the most potent coin

Currently its NEO because its already working also lots of successful projects using NEO blockchain based technology for example Ontology still lots .EOS has to launch mainnet still its just speculative currency . Most saying EOS would be next ethereum but i think NEO takes place after ethereum.

Yes ETH satisfies most of the demands and is in the meantime very well established. But the Problem is, that there is a gap of programmers, which can do proper solidity programming. So the Quality even for simple Services like wallets is for most not sufficient. The others have Access to a broader developper community in the Long term.
