I think the possible competitor of ethereum is neo. They both offer decentralized network and platform for smart contracts that can be activated with using any third party.
I think NEO or stellar is the best Ethereum competitor because they are a good platform. Many tokens today use them for their platform, let see a few later :v

There is no possible competitors of Ethereum for me. Because I can see that Ethereum is the most popular among all. Ethereum is a large community so there was no possible competitors for this. i think EOS will be the most powerful competitor of ether . it hit many of ether's weaknesses . for example : network congestion , high transfer fee , difficult to expand .
