I wont convert to USDT cause my money is in the safe crypto: bitcoin. Im currently a swing trader, right now im still waiting for a bullish run but it wont happen anytime soon because of some negative event that occurred just last week. There is a news that 120 billion crypto currencies has been hack that's why the price suddenly drop. But as always bitcoin will recover but im not so sure about the other altcoins.

the best way to get hold of it now is that the market is slowing down the demand for a weaker coin that allows you to buy the coins cheaper. I have converted almost 50% of my crypto assets in fiat currency, 25% for trading.
the rest is HODL, the reason is for security when I need money for emergency purposes or to buy more coins when the price goes down.

Yeah that is perfect strategy. Don’t just for one thing all whole alone. You must be dividing things and then contributing to each of them differently. If you put all of your eggs in one basket and start trusting blindly that it never falls, you are the stupidest person on this globe. You need to work on different projects and perceive that which one can help you and how you can take benefit of that.

I just let them as it is. I'm not a fan of people who exchange it to tether or even to btc. I'm used to waiting many months just for my coins to recover and maybe in September and November it will recover.

Worth a try, 3 months is a long time and I have tried it.
I understand the benefits but my emotions are unstable and easily give up.
I may be too focused and tips from you will I try good luck.

Hodling for a few months, let alone years, can be very frustrating if you're in a hurry to get your money back.
It's easier first to get your invested amount out of crypto asap and after that asume that you already lost everything else.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody
I'm still holding the same coins I had in 2017 and adding more on top of that. I also have some altcoins including ETH and ADA. I'm not planning to convert to USD or USDt as i believe more in cryptos than fiat money and would much rather have more of the former. This is a temporary shakedown that happens every time after a major pump. Once it ends the price will go up again towards the new ATH. There's really no point in risking it all trying to get some fiat that you won't spend anyway.

The best HODL is bitcoin and Ethereum! But we must understand that we are talking about the investment horizon of several years. The optimal solution now is to accumulate these cryptocurrencies.
This is my best HODL in this red zone bitcoin and ethereum. Aside from hodling the best move is we can buy proportion of btc and ethereum since this time is still at best to buy at down price. Hodling is good if you have patience during this red zone.

As we are looking at the market currently, the whole thing is dumping like anything. There is no thorough explanation about the whole scenario as to why the crypto currencies are dropping by so hard and hence I am eager to know what are you guys holding at this point.

Have you converted everything to the BTC or any other safe currency that you see out in the market?

Is there anyone of you who is holding all the assets back into the USDT, the Tether one or have you converted everything back to the fiat. ?
Was in fiat but I am into btc now until further notice, and I usually do not invest in altcoins, except there is a clear signal they are in an uptrend since their response and movement is more attached to that of bitcoin anyway and taking a silly chance is not my thing except the altcoin is already on some historical support level and may not have the possibility of going way lower.

So far, I except bitcoin to give some moves in the early months, and if it does not, you know how it is, most especially if it breaks the current support around $6800.

Hold is boring, we have no certainty about time and price.
hold also does not guarantee a profit, I always sell even if only get a small profit.
Unless the coins are potentially up and have large trading volumes like eth.

lol . Seriously? Well what if i told you that hodling a coin is not boring? Why? Because it is rather an exciting feeling to see that your money can go down and up like a roller coaster . Hodling can also guarantee s profit as long as your chosen coin has a potential or seems to be more promising than the others.

Ive been hodling different types of coins such as altcoins and tokens that i got from an airdrop and some bounty as well. I do already hold them for about a year now but i dont get bored because i wasnt really foccusing on them.

the only way to kill boredom is to divert yourself to other fun activities.

For me, Bitcoin is still the best option because it can really give you big returns once it begins to recuperate and surge in value. Although the patience you have to invest is really crucial, it will all be worth it, especially when you will gain substantial income. However, since it is the most-valued coin around, then it would actually need a bigger capital to invest it.

I bought an ETC for most of the deposit, good news in June. Since the market downturn, the ETC has fallen by about 14% from the area of my purchase

I think this is not a good idea t convert your asset or btc to usd if you brought it btc or eth pair not usd. crypto market down and everything getting red so this time only for hold and never sell it low price.Last few month usd pair is the best for holding and who convert her btc or eth to usd now he is gainer or billionaire .Crypto market always is broken and violate anytime some it will be the moon or sometimes it will be down so huge.

I am holding onto a lot of stuff that is because I don't want to sell most of my assets at a loss, especially considering 80% of them will be profitable in the near future here. My best hodl would have to be the coins that I have made profit on which includes Bitcore, TenX, and DeepOnion. Makes it easier to hold when you have made a profit obviously, but one should also note the fundamentals too when considering the hodl method and I believe those 3 aforementioned coins have solid fundamentals.

The favourite coin I still hold today is bitcoin because the opportunity to experience a great increase is still awake than other altcoins that take a relatively long time to move and the key to achieving success from traders is to remain optimistic that the exchange rate will rise again in the future.

Every people had their own strategy in this red zone. Some will convert their altcoin into bitcoin and some will convert their holding dollars in to bitcoin. Some may convert their bitcoin into trusted altcoin.I will just hold the bitcoin for the next raise. And sell my bitcoin at green zone.

Now I hold a large number of altcoys and I'm waiting for growth, I'm not going to sell it in the minus even if it drops another 80%, I just close all the terminals and start resting.

I'm a holder. I’m just holding and waiting as because the current price not worry to me. I suggest converting your money into PundiX, will be a top 10 project in the coin market. Expect big things for Pundi by the end of this year. I trust PindiX teams and also support.

I once converted my altcoins back to USDT where there is always small volatility. When there are still blood in the market, I always do it trading in USDT with the altcoins listed in that market because I find it there is little risk if I could trade in USDT than in BTC or/and now in ethereum.

the best thing I can stand when my red price will hold ethereum and some other tokens is not only that I will buy some more coin for me save because I take advantage of the condition that the price is still very cheap.
