It seems to me that the value of altcoins is entirely the idea of the project itself and its implementation, because it is the idea of the project that will lead the project to its completion and, as a result, solve the problems that need solution.

Its product. And its community brings its value. Both factors determine the value of most altcoin. Even Bitcoin and Eth. No coin can be worth much if they do not have a large community and a good product

I think being highly accepted by people in the world is also what makes altcoins valuable. We see that we can benefit from this mainly financial. What it can be through trade and investment as well.

Obviously for me, that thing that give value to a token is the project that it is representing. If the project would be revolutionary and fresh - I bet that token will be worthy and perspective.

I think valuable are those altcoin that mean the production of something, a particular product or service at the finish. And of course the representation of the coin on all major exchanges, as far as I know, is worth a lot of money on the stock exchange.

Technically speaking, an altcoin has value for the same reason everything else has value - people are willing to assign that much value to the object. When I am looking into investing in an altcoin, I personally look into the devs, the community and the technology in that order. In my opinion, valuable altcoin makes it useful for a person. If a specific token created is used in an industry and facilitates the life of a particular person, making it more accessible, simple and convenient, then its value, expressed in monetary terms, will increase.

I'm developing an altcoin that is based on social sharing. What foundational technologies are going to make it the most valuable? What makes an altcoin valuable? I'm wondering if it is just how much people hear about it? Thoughts?

More than technology or usability, its speculation or we can say community awareness which determines price. I have seen many ICOs not even launched their product or service but still coin price went 10x the ICO price just on the basis of investors' speculation. For instance, check POWR.

Let me give you example, Apple shares decreased horribly the day Tim Cook announced 20% fall in Apple China's sale!

Same theorem works in crypto world too. Coin is wholly owned to open market and its price fluctuates hugely by buzz and FUDs!

So would it be smart to launch a cryptocurrency into the market as a sharable currency before establishing an ICO? If the proof of concept is already working, would the ICO be better? I mean if the community is already there?
Bitcoin is a valuable coin that continues to demand many people from year to year. which makes Bitcoin so valuable is its expanding development and its considerable price. because it is with a coin that has a promising price and development is very capable of producing far greater profits in the future.

It should be useful. Just like any product, people has to feel that they need it. And it would not be harder because altcoins are going to be the tool for transaction which it can also be the medium of the products. The altcoin needs at least the demands from numbers of people to make it valuable.

As per what I have seen of late, the main way that an altcoin can be esteemed by financial specialists is through a huge purposeful publicity and limited time crusade, paying little mind to the task behind the altcoin, as I have seen a few improvements in the market that truly don't offer anything important however their promoters have been in charge of influencing them to appear like "the money that is called to reform the market and uproot the bitcoin" and get great profits, yet thus I have seen incredible and imaginative altcoins that lamentably not are extremely famous for absence of advancement.

The potential of the project behind their behalf is to determine the value of token. Another good marketing plan will also affect the price of token.

Altcoin price is mainly formed with their technical properties and quantity of the coins that will be traded on the market, their emisson limit. Technical properties can cause big hype, like EOS did or like Tezos did in last year when they collected 200+ millions and it was biggest ICO at that time.

Numerous factors make altcoins great. It matters what new technology they are bringing and what pain point are they solving. Case in example:- ethereum's smart contracts. So, in order for an altcoin to be valuable to the people buying it, it needs to have cutting-edge technology that somehow improves the way people transact. Also, the market's trust in an altcoin makes it valuable. More the trust, more the people invest, hence the altcoin's market share increases. And vice-versa.

to make Altcoin so valuable it is necessary to increase coinage to make Altcoin's price and value so high. so it's nice to support Altcoin right now and make it worthwhile. because usually with a coin that has a value and a fairly high price can be said a valuable coin.
