I think the percentage is it may increases i will say it could be 60 percent because it become  familiar to the people and recognize. I believe that many would bitcoin because it was a good investment. And at the year of 2020 many that have an internet access around the world it may increases the percentage of people with bitcoin and who are investing..
60% of the total population or an increase of 60% of the current estimated users? Please clarify it because if you do mean that 60% of the world's population, I would say that is too unrealistic. Bear in mind that we are still less than 5% of the total world's population now and although we are growing but it's not that fast, you can tell that when the price started to neutralize or stabilize, now it's full of manipulation by the whales.

nearly 35% of the population will recognize bitcoin, and bitcoin users 25%, 15% active users of bitcoin. but this is just speculation from me, but the demands of the modern world makes people have to wear crypotocurrency.

I've been running a poll for some time now about the value of 1 bitcoin by 2020 and it's safe to say a lot of different opinions and guesses are made.
This poll completes the other one and i'm really looking forward to everyone's input in this.

Tnx for your input  Cool

I would say it was too early to predict the future value of bitcoin by  2020. From my own perspective,  I went with 40-50 because I believe that the coming 2020 many people will recognize and use bitcoin and it will be more familiarize. I am looking forward for the positive outcome of bitcoin.
yes there may be some people who can speculate about bitcoin in a good way, but still i will like to say that prediction about bitcoin for 4 years not such an easy job. bitcoin price is not fixed but can change from time to time.

No one can make an accurate prediction. Quite a lot of people still doubt to invest in bitcoin and rumors about the fall of bitcoin can scare them away. My opinion is 10-20%.
Even your predictions on my view are very overpriced. The fact is that you can take for attention the number of people who use payment systems on the Internet in general. These statistics will show the real numbers of those who work online and earn.

I think that Bitcoin's adoption by 2020 will not result in it magically being a mainstream currency and my view is that arguments for Bitcoin becoming worth a million dollars or something are nothing more than weak hyperbole and a facade of optimism.

The usage couldn't be more than half because less than half of people have regular access to the Internet.  The people who will have good enough Internet will be much fewer than that, and beyond that a lot of people with stable currencies will not automatically turn to Bitcoin if they are in countries with stable enough currencies that they feel are better for spending in their everyday life.
Actually it is speculated that by 2020, 65% of the world will have access to the internet, but even then, that does not mean that all of them will use bitcoin I mean right now the ones that do have internet access don’t know what bitcoin is, they don’t even know what PayPal is.
i thik speculation for 4 years is not such an easy task. because it depend on the interest of the people. i think a good introduction and advertisement is also important for making bitcoin more and more popular. i can hope that in 2020 the price of bitcoin will be trading above 3000 USD level.

I went with 2-5% but that's being optimistic, realistically I think bitcoin ownership will stay under 2%. Even if bitcoin ownership increased by a magnitude of 10 it would still be less than 2%. We are still in the early days.
maybe I will be optimistic bitcoin users would probably only reach 2-5% of the total world population. if you want to see 90% of the world population using bitcoin. it will take the next decade
That number is too optimistic, when half of the human population have problems accessing water when one third don’t have electricity, I don’t think we are anywhere close to reach a number like that, if we reach one percent before this decade ends we should consider ourselves lucky.
electricity and the Internet has become a major requirement in the world. so I think it will be developed to become more sophisticated so that electricity and the Internet will continue to exist so believe electricity will not be cut off in the future

Electricity and Internet come hand in hand. If there is no or little supply of electricity in your country then basically Internet is also limited then bitcoin used is limited as well. So the number of bitcoin user correlates to countries that consumed a lot of electricity. My guestimate is that bitcoin users will more likely around 2-10% for me. I agree with some saying that bitcoin is still in its infancy, so its still young and needed to grow more in the coming years to reach its potential in year 2020.

True. Why switch when you're currency is good enough? There are some people that I talked to on Slack that are converting their fiat money into bitcoins because they are using it as an investment and because they use bitcoin to pay for services/goods online. The people that do not know what bitcoin is will not go to trouble to learn all of these because their current situation is good enough for them, obviously.

Most people that have an online job because of bitcoin is from third world countries wherein the minimum wage is just a couple of dollars. Online job is far better than doing hard labor for the whole day and earn less.

Less than one percent, there is more money moving in bitcoin but not many people are adopting it, mostly investors are the ones adopting the crypto currency as their own.

as to reach to 2020 we have not more that 3 years, ithink in next three years we can expect that the users of bitcoin will be too much increase because still majority of people do not know about bitcoin.

Now in our place in one compound we are 10 now own bitcoin.
in fact we never know who and how many people are using bitcoin. This is because the anonymity of bitcoin. I can not determine with certainty what percentage of users bitcoin now or in 2020, but I am sure, the number of Bitcoin users continues to grow.

We cannot judge what will be the exact percentage of people that will own Bitcoin by 2020 as its impossible to come to any exact conclusion but one thing is sure the number of users will be higher by that time in compare to present as bitcoin is gaining more popularity and more and more people are showing their interest in investing their money into it so there will be a constant increase in the user base of bitcoins as time passes by.

I guess more than 20% was just a guess definite bitcoin users will increase from year to year because of the better performance of bitcoin and the price continues to rise it's signifies the bitcoin has a good future
The legal permission will give more adoption for the bitcoin itself and I think it will get over 2020 with a lot of the countries give a legal permission for bitcoin over 20%
