Here first thing is to read the forum, understand the main ideas of the cryptocurrency, develop an account. Further depends on the availability of free money. If it is - buy currencies, deal with mining. If there is no money, take part in the bounty and the airdrops.
Newbie should just keep on posting in other move into another stage and hereby gey familirize with the platform and will be able to participate in some viable project and will make profit by participating in bounty campaign
I would suggest reading things about cryptocurrencies in this forum to first have some initial idea on what have you engaging yourself with in order to avoid uncertainties and regret in some instances. From then, you will have an idea on where will you focus your time. You may participate on bounty programs to earn rewards as an alternative on investing but you might as well invest as a start.

but I refused, because at that time I was studying and working in one of the bona fide companies.
