$6k at EOY. No news to drive price. Yes, Bakkt, Fidelity, etc. but they won’t push price until 2019- Q2. Need news showing/displaying substantial usage/purchasing.
Some smart institutions bought last year (notice the timeframe when Fidelity created their digital services company!) around this time hence the move to $20k..now they are shortening the market to drive retail out...will get worse before better...

I personally think that the market will recover anyway and Bitcoin will cost about $ 30,000 by the end of this year.
My prediction is that this year will end up neither good or bad state. It won't fully recover but it will be much pleasant. And Bitcoin's price will be about 10000$.
The situation in the crypto currency market is quite unstable now, we can expect a sharp drop and a sharp rise. Therefore, it is impossible to say unequivocally that the market is stabilizing.
If the next rally will be as effective as the past, the cryptocurrency market will easily make X10. During previous growth cycles, the news caused a surge in speculative investment. Transaction fees of bitcoin are just insane catastrophic! This is unheard of! Previously, the priority was considered a transaction for 3 euros. Now even for a Commission of $ 20 priority is not high.
Yes, not the fact that the price will be very high.. everyone can take and dump on some other convenient cryptocurrency thread and the cue ball will fall down. For example on Ethereum, also very impressive.

I think the potential impact of cryptocurrencies on society is just as great as it has been in the past, and ideally this should reflect in the prices. Looking at what crypto offers, the potential improvements to existing processes in society and the possibilities of new areas of growth, prices should still be high.
The reason they're not is the thinness and immaturity of the markets, coupled with a lack of fiat trading pairs for most coins, and even difficulty of trading to fiat with BTC and ETH. There are huge FOMO and panic selling runs, which leads to volatility, which leads to a lack of conviction that any long-term price move will stick.
I do think it will gradually improve as crypto becomes more recognised and as fiat trading opportunities start to arrive. Until then, the ride will remain bumpy.
But the good sign is that we have had relative stability recently, which leads many to predict a bull run will follow.

Hi,
First of all, I would like to mention that this is only MY thought and please DYOR.
I personally think that we will have an uptrend after a big dump (something like $4K). Later on, the whales will start pumping again and we will be on something like $7K like we have in these days. After that, we will see an alt season for 1-2 months. Whales will try to make more money like they did last year by pumping the coins systematically and of course by dumping them. Please check out the cycles of last year. After the alt season, we will see BTC on the stage and it will make a new ATH. Whales gonna make more money again with their earnings from alts. Now, it is BTC's turn for them to make more money.
To be honest, they won't let go making money easily. They will be back and we need to be cautious and avoid entering pumping coins plus black swan events.
I am sure the cycle will run again.

It is predicted that by the end of the year crypto will rebound, but not so easily. In my opinion, the whole of 2018 will be bleak, the current price of coins will stand still, and the recovery will return. back in early 2019, that's my guess, I believe in my prediction.
I think bitcoin will keep increasing towards the end of the year. Bitcoin has be relatively stable between $6000 to $8000, we might see $10000 in price of bitcoin by December this year!
My prediction is that Bitcoin will maintain the lead and will get upto 15.000 $ at the end of the year, Ethereum could get back to 500 $, nothing could compete with these two in my view.
emmmm... another crap prediction about the price of bitcoin. You didn't watch the market. ETF will get another rejection and how it could get another pump, so many people have said the same thing like you dude but this time their prediction just another useless thing. Just follow bitcoin and try to get a lot of informations.

if my prediction in December, bitcoin and other crypto will experience a super good price increase as in December last year. and later I'm sure all crypto can be like at the end of last year
