I think it will take time that cryptocurrencies will be used to buy basic needs especially now that there are projects that pop up like mushroom in a garden. and then just dissappeared in thin air or the development just died down. If the coins can be easily acquired by the masses any where and the prices began to stable then cryptocurrencies will definitely be able to be used as payment for basic needs.
in my opinion, it can be applied to ico projects using blockhain technology with goods that can be seen, like Japan, which accepts bitcoin as a means of payment, in my opinion this can happen and takes a long time
I dont think it is happening in near future.

reportedly now also can already buy the food directly with crypto. In a famous world class dining. But still have yet to prove whether such right or not. I only heard this a lot.

of course it's possible because to be honest all coin in crypto market has a potential to become a payment method in real state IMO. Such BITCOIN which is so far some of store and fast food gradually accepting btc as a payment method. So it's not impossible mate for some coin as well to become accepted in the future.

Well, I have seen some using cryptocurrencies to buy stuff at coffee shops, and groceries. I also know a community that only accpets cryptocurrencies as a form of payment for goods. Mass adoption will happen, it is just a matter of time.

it is possible to see this is happening in the future but for now, I think we cannot use cryptocurrency to buy something in the store. maybe there any store that available to pay with the crypto but still, it's only a few stores that allow us to pay with crypto. we need approval from the government so the crypto can work together with money and the crypto can be another solution for the customer to buy something in any store. but soon, I believe that this thing will happen and we don't have any problem to use crypto for buying something.
It seems like it's not such a far out idea. There are many ways to use cryptocurrencies to buy basic needs. I just did a quick search and found many options. There are sites that will let you buy gift cards with crypto. I found one that sells Walmart gift cards. I'm sure you could buy all your basic needs at Walmart. In terms of buying things directly with crypto. I think it is becoming more and more feasible. You basically just need somebody that's willing to accept it. I found an app that lets you order groceries with bitcoins. It will just get more and more possible as time goes on.
It is already possible in some ways, some airines accept crypto.
Also, TON goes toward it.
I think in 5 years we will use crypto for every deal as t is cheaper faster and more secure.

I think it is not far away technology but now it is early. People need the know about something more the cryptocurrencies
I think we will have a broader uses cases in the coming years. There are great projects out geared towards this motive like xrt foundation who aims to harness the payment process in the food industry. I think its a matter of time for this initiative to manifest in our daily lives
As soon as payments become faster, it will be possible to apply crypto currency to purchase household needs!
Cigarette doesn't sound like a basic need to me. But I think we are almost in the edge now that maybe in just few months or a year or two we can see tokens like Lisk or stratis or whichever that will be accepted too. I guess we are all just going to wait for regulations from government and ETF. Its what will drive the price too.
But it will definitely be realized in the future.

It will be possible one the transactions become instant and the transaction fees are almost unnoticeable. I dont think people will adopt cryptos if they have to wait 15 mins at the cashier before the transaction goes through + having to pay an additional 1-2$ for a 10$ transaction to the miners.
this will take a long time for cryptocurrency to be accepted as a daily payment tool. because there are still many countries are still counter to bitcoin and the price is always not always stable to be used as a means of payment. but all that, did not rule out, maybe after all countries legalize the existence of bitcoin and have seen all sides of bitcoin to be used as a means of payment. must require decisions that need to be really mature, in order to avoid the things that are not desirable.

depending on the coin you buy has the potential to compete in crypto or not. if you invest carelessly without analyzing first you will not get anything, let alone meet your basic needs. trading is not easy to imagine. need to trade techniques properly and correctly, experience needs to be obtained to get the expected income.Jump to:
