I also hate ICO's scam. Because they not only make the market worse, but also waste a lot of hunter time. If someone can give us a way to effectively sanction ICO, then I am happy to support you!

It will never end, people should understand, that blindly investing in every project without a deep investigation may not be a great idea. Just be more selective with project that you are taking part in and there will be less fraud projects on this market.

We need strict regulation regarding ICO'S because most of them are scam and running with peoples money, if there is a regulation this people would be afraid on doing so, people are not interested on investing anymore because ICO'S become a place of scamming people.

Don't invest in ICOs and they will die gradually Wink But any ICO investor want to find and buy new Etherium or Stratis to make x100-x200 and buy lambo. Only when all investors will lose all their money with ICOs hype will end.

Even if there are fake ICO investors are also getting wiser now, they can see who are frauds and who are legit, investors are still making a profit although there are so many scam projects, these are wise investors who did a great job finding the right one, so we still have a lot of investors investing in ICO.

we need some king of restructuring in the smart contract and a regulation board that will make sure all things are in line with the business law and will give a kind of assurance to investors

Every day more and more ICO collect money, and then disappear. Do you think we need sanctions for ICO?

Not all ICO's doing that, some still active and fuctional in the market after there token sales succesfully done. We can blame on those ICO's missing in line because some is not effective and having losses and no choice but to dissolve their project. So many ICO's pumping out in the market so no worries at all even others ICO's disappear.
only few of them doing this thing.but not all of ico projects.much of them still have strong commitment to developt good projects in their roadmap.and we've see many ico appear with their product that could adopted i n future such as pundix.

I think that hype is already finished and now only high-quality and properly organized projects will appear on the market. I think that new projects have a future.
You are right, today only good projects will survive on this market. Other projects, which are relying only on hype, will die.

I think that hype has already passed. Now everything is on stream and most likely we are closer to stabilization. For this reason, I think that the mad popularity of ICO has already passed
It is, even there's some article mentioning how the flowing money to the ICO reduced, however I don't think that's due to the hype that's gone but more of because the rate of the crypto right now that's significantly decreasing to the point where the crypto right now has down for mre than ~15% and that's really crazy.

The hype has almost ended with the persistent bear run, hardly at a moment any ICO is still making money the majority has failed.

This topic is of concern to many, the trust of investors is very much undermined. We need control in the field of ICO, or a system that counteracts fraudulent schemes in new projects.

I love to call it organization not sanctions
Organization ensures that only serious ICO exist
But how? and who is entrusted with that?
That is the most important question.

Hasn't the hype for ICOs ended by now?
Even my colleagues that were so bullish on ICOs have stopped doing them.
And the general sentiment nowadays is that it isn't worth it.

I'm glad too.
Yes, there were just way too many and not enough quality projects.
There was no way that that could continue on forever.
But the really bad side to all of this, is that even great projects have a hard time now.
If you think of the best ICOs this year, even they have lost a huge percentage of their value.

Of course, the crashing market also influences all of it.
And the side effect is also that ETH is just free falling to brand new lows.

I think the SEC is now paving its way to clear the ICO and cryptocurrency-related fraud. They will going to filter the scam ICO projects in the future but as of now, they have no access to it as they only handle a limited areas in their responsibility.

Today, there is a KYC program to reduce the risk of fraud. But as you do not want there is always a risk. And to be successful will have to take risks. Those who do not take the risk do not drink champagne.

There's no specific date how to reduce hype in ICO this is unpredictable, it's your own decision making how to involve in a legit one through reading there platform and how they able to promote.

the fact remains that we have loads of shit projects invading the crypto ecosystem. regulations is needed and currently government institutions are trying to curb this mess. currently it is very difficult to sport a real genuine project. Even the so-called websites and teams that assist people in sorting out New icos are selfish.  they cares about their pocket.

Hyip has already ended, what we are seeing now is a residual phenomenon from the total population that IKO gained in 2017. Investor money has run out. As long as the market does not begin to grow, while investors do not regain the promised profit, no one will invest in ICO.
