Good question, but i hope you are aware of the top coins which are listed in cmc., and i suppose that you knew it already, but if i were you, focus only to the top 10 coins in the cmc, like bitcoin, ethereum, ripple and the others. I believe that you can make profits in the long term if you hold this coins from now, they are promising projects as well.
If we exclude bitcoin and ethereum from the list, i believe Litecoin and NEO are indubitably the best cryptos for long term hold because they are the cryptos that crypto analysts always compared to bitcoin and ethereum respectively.

In my suggestion the best altcoins to hold long-term is Ethereum,cardano, NEO and EOS these altcoins has a potential to give us a huge profit in holding it long-term. The development of these altcoins in this year is excellent and it's improved than past last year.
