For me, altcoins any day. I am ready to invest in coins like PRG, Lisk and ICX that will give me greater returns on investment. I believe it is better to invest in something that can give profits and is stable.

Bitcoin is much more established than altcoins, but i prefer to invest into altcoins, because of the turn over rate. It's more like this:
It is hard for you to have x3 to x5 profit on bitcoin, most especially in a time like this. For instance, if you buy 1 btc now at $6000, you cannot easily have $18000 or $30000 after the investment.
While on altcoin, it is very much possible. Take for instance, a coin is $0.05, it can easily increase to $0.15 or even $0.25. Which means it has done x3 or x5 increase. So, if you had invested the $6000 on altcoin, you can easily have that increase through a multiplier factor.

Both are equally good, depending on how you analyze and your strategy in cryptocurrency. If you want to hold it for a long time, I personally prefer BTC. But, I suggest that you buy both, 60% BTC and 40% altcoins, to reduce the risk if one of the coins has problems.

Comparing with May right now btc seems to be a better investment as it demonstrates greater stability. Most alts are having their hardest times, so it's not a good idea to deal altcoins as for now.
