I don't know if you're thinking right. Personally, I see the market a little differently. Let me give you my example. I try to keep bitcoins in my wallet in the amount of 60-70% of the total pool of all my money and the rest of the money I keep in altcoins. I sincerely believe in promising coins that will definitely show a good result. I also this year discovered the bounty of the company, who can give me a few coins. Perhaps they, too, will grow in soon.

i don't thin what's in their mind to make selling in this time, because all i see this time is only for holding. yeah, i understand that the market are rising up little by little but it doesn't mean you earn. maybe the alternative coins are followed soon because as of now the bitcoin are the only one who rising up. and it is better to rise up little by little compare to the bullrun that after a week the price are dropping again.

There is no point to hold the tokens that we know that have no potential at all, holding it will just make us regret because we missed the opportunity to sell it when its price is still on its peak. The most common reason why people are selling their coins is because they needed the money or they just have the intuition to sell it, the outcome might either good or the other way around.

However, the other reason why other people are selling their coins even if the market is on the bearish trend is because they are the whales, they wanted to shake the market, for other people to panick and sell their coins so it will become their profits when they buy back.

usually I don't sell them without a good profit . I'd wait for a 2x gain at least . but If I got an money urgent I'll sell them even with a loss . however I don't mind to sell my coins in this bear market

No i am not selling them..even i am in some loss but i am holding them...specially with ethereum i bought at 600 usd and it is right now even below 300 usd but i know and trust ethereum that it will be back again and will cross 600usd and even more some day

I think buying altcoins all have two purposes: to hold for a long or short term. If I buy for a long time, it's from 8 months and more. If for a short period of time - as soon as the coin makes X's I sell it (but I only do it with uninteresting coins or if I need money urgently).
