I constantly sold my crypto money, just in the event that I required cash to take care of my issues throughout everyday life, tragically I needed to sold it regularly and now I think twice about it. I trust that I will keep away from such errors in future.
At the moment I have almost no alternative coins, because I sold them. Now it is very dangerous to keep alternative coins for several months.
Sometimes.not a bad idea to sell tokens if the project has no development changes or roadmap militants achievements. Some other projects are just a hidden scam. Then I would sell as well.

Mostly people have fear and they expect x10 in 1 week, they dont see the result, they think that they have lost their money and so they sell

I know it's kinda hard selling your coins cheap, but sometimes selling off quick when the market is dipping might be the right move insuch a way, that when you sell off and it continues dipping, you can buy more instead of just hodling and your coins dips with you.

There must be certain reasons that they sell Altcoin that fast. Chances are they saw that the Coins Price in Altcoin was doing well, so they sold them simultaneously. Or maybe there are other causes, like the marriage of a coin, so that they sell coins at low prices and others. Maybe that's all the cause.
I sell most of my Tokens mainly because study has it that after the lunch on the exchange there is high probability that their market value will decrease significantly as compared to what there value was during the ICO. Although not just study but I have learn a had lesson from holding Tokens for a long period of time in the recent time, and that is my reason for selling my Tokens.
A real investor does not sell the assets in which he invested money before they do not bring him income. Altcoins are selling fast - green investors (usually in the pursuit of a hype), traders, early investors in ico (when they immediately benefit from the sale and so they reduce risks), bounty hunters.
Got rid of a lot of my smaller ones, now just holding a few of the bigger coins and investing into ICOs. A lot of the alts are 2-3 years old and done nothing so far.
It seems, all depends on the needs of each person.

I sell altcoins quickly because of the necessity of life that is now expensive and most in worry if not quickly sold the market price of fear down and not rise again.
Maybe because they see their altcoins as for short-term investment only. Every one of us has different opinions on every token. But I guess, it is good also to sell their altcoins in exchange for Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is one of the best investment. Actually, 50% of my portfolio is composed of Bitcoin.

The long bear season in 2018 has made many sell their altcoins since most of them have not appreciated much in value. I however agree with you that altcoins could be likened to original painting that has a potential to or still in the process of appreciating in value.
i will buy a lot of good coins when the market is in a bear market. when the bull market comes, i will gradually sell coins. because, we don't know the highest point of it. the best strategy is to sell a small portion of the coin, each time the coin rises.

Because of fear that the crypto market will not be able to recover from the price downtrend it is experiencing right now. They think that selling their coin now they could salvage any value from their loss. But I'm hodling because I still believe in crypto.
Moreover, I could not stand the fall in the market and the only thing I can do is to sell them so that I would not be depressed by the fall in the coins.
People are afraid of losing their investments, so they fix income on the sale of their altcoins. Many do not believe in coins that are kept in their wallets.
I prefer long term hold. I also suppose that people may think that it is too risk to keep their money and try to get their fund back by tacking first profits.
