I like to keep my portfolio neat. I sell during highs and try buyback during lows. I always buy back though that is the secret. Then you can keep the investment going for months even years. Just make sure you sell when the price is worth it to you and not what it's worth as a total. Use your own references so you might sell when it is too low for others buy you bought for less.
For me the reason is simple, i think many altcoin are not worth to hodl and wait. Some people prefer to hold only the reliable altcoin. I am also one of those who transfer their altcoin to BTC. I like to collect Btc as much as possible.
As soon as the alts we've got from bounties or airdrop hit the market and have relatively good values, some people prefer to sell it and convert it into bitcoin or into a reliable alts such as ethereum. Having too many coins in a single wallet will require us to keep up to date with the development of each projects which sometimes can be a boring thing to do.
I noticed such a tendency in the cryptocurrency market that old projects are developing very poorly and practically do not rise in price after falling in 2018. But If you look at some new projects that have been working since the beginning of 2019, they are already showing really good results. From this we can draw certain conclusions.
I dont think there is any harm in selling your altcoin as long as it will fetch more fortune in the future as long as one is patient

Actually nobody want to sell his altcoins low price.And it's very difficult to predict so some body think after long time it's price can go under that's they sell their altcoin and someone sell his altcoin early for need urgent money.

But if they sell Altcoin and buy Bitcoin, they still have the same value, no more than that. Now is the time to sell Bitcoin, because the price is very high, not when buying. This is my opinion. I sell all the altcoins that I have for me to save to become Bitcoin and Ethereum, because I'm sure there will be 2 big coins that will continue to increase ... because these 2 coins are very much needed by crypto users ... whatever the project that is executed must use payment instruments with Bitcoin and Ethereum ... therefore I always save both coins ..
I see where you are coming from andi understand what you are saying but you have to remember that not every altcoin can be kept too. And you can't expect everyone to keep their altcoin too. If I feel an altcoin doesn't have a future I will definitely sell it..

I sell mine for different reasons and am entitled to them. I sell either when am in profit and another coin looks promising, in this case I might sell all or sell some depending on my research about the coin.

I will sell my altcoins as soon as possible to invest in bitcoin because bitcoin price is very low now and I'm certain that my intuition is bigger when the price rises and I sell my hold.

Now all Altcoins are in the maximum possible bad position. if you will sell now then you'll be very upset in the futureIf they are angry in the future, it will be their choice of what they do.
