Indeed none of the existing religions did not lead any evidence of the existence of God, but affirms that he is.

Many science can not explain, but that does not mean that God exists. Just accepted in science to argue what you can prove 100%, but religion does not use evidence. They just say there is a God and everyone should believe them.

You did find it appalling to follow a religion because you think you were forced into following one religion because you were born into that religion and since you find science you became an Atheist and that is why you hate religion, but there are many things that cannot be explained by science so you cannot conclude that science has an answer to each and every problem.

They are many of them that do take this stance against religion, but that is not what the group or the term means.  As a group, they believe that there is not enough proof or evidence to support the fact and from that standpoint, they simply move on.

Atheists as a group or as an individual do not hate religion, they simply do not believe in it.  The term atheists does not have anything to do with a malevolent feeling or hatred of religion.

If you look above with your own eyes you see a proton and an electron revolving around each other in an atom'asphere
They are both around 30 miles in diameter, one is hot one is cold and above them is a firmament.
As above so below.
Here endeth the science lesson.

Death is finalperiod If people pay their last respects to the dead upon burial (or ash), how much more should we, the people, pay our respects to each other - all of whom are still alive today, and able to enjoy the fullness that life offers?

Now consider what I am saying very carefully. Life and the universe are complex. Nobody, no scientist or anyone else has any real idea how this universe came to be. The things about Big Bang and Evolution are guesses. But even if they weren't guesses, there is such complexity in it all that we would have only the barest of  ideas how it all worked. Here is what I am saying.

As far as we understand the universe and life, it is impossible. The only reason why we know that the universe and life are possible is because they are here, and we are living them. But we don't really have a clue about how they could exist. They are impossible as far as our understanding goes.

The point? In the same way that we don't understand how the universe and life can be possible, so we don't know for sure that the resurrection is impossible. Perhaps the resurrection is built into nature, and we simply haven't found it yet. We can guess either way, but we really don't know.

You are the very pinnacle of the complexity you are talking about very BADecker!   Cheesy  Interestingly, your "impossible" orderly-magnituded neural-networked being has such intensely complex workings at precisely the lower levels of its functioning, that it is in fact laughably funny, the whole cosmic show as it plays out, and as can only be perceived from the relatively simple and straightforward endpoint (highest level) of current complexity > that of self-conscious reasoning -  and you make it a pleasure to partake my friend.  Wink

Resurrection is built into nature. We have found it. No guessing necessary. Without it all life on earth will very quickly die off. All you have to do is take care of those who have been entrusted to you. If you do this, resurrection will take care of itself and you will have the joy of watching the resurrected ones come into full being, before you finally lay your head to rest.

I was talking about the fact that you believe your God created the universe but failed to mention it in your original reply.
Now, look at how easy that was for you. If you had mentioned it right away, I could have responded differently.
You're right or course. I shouldn't have given you the benefit of doubt and think that you possessed enough intelligence to comprehend what I was saying without having to spell it out for you in simple terms. I promise not to make this mistake again.

See, I can be condescending too.  Grin

Normally you never miss an opportunity to tell everyone about this so I thought that maybe you'd been rethinking your position. Nothing was mentioned about the way or methods until you raised it above.
"Are you now admitting that you don't know how the universe came to be?" Actually, this part is where you mentioned about the way or methods... in that little word "how." If you didn't mean the way or methods, why didn't you express what you meant? The fact that God created the universe is undeniable. You might think that you are denying it, but you really aren't and can't.
The answer to how from you is always God. The ways or methods that God used were irrelevant in the context of the original question.

The fact that God created the universe is undeniable only in your eyes and I do not believe this. If I'm not really denying it, as you say, then what am I doing exactly?

While what you say is true, unlike yourself I have greater faith in the abilities of human beings. If given enough opportunity I believe there isn't much that we won't be able to one day explain that doesn't require a faith based in religion. I feel that the only thing that could potentially stop us is some catastrophic event that either wipes us out or removes our collective knowledge.

Your greater faith in human beings who are pushed into their positions by cause and effect, have God to blame for their actions. But, God has held a little piece of freedom open to people - their strength of faith in Him - and He simply takes that strength of faith and matches it with the cause and effect that He produces in people. So, while it is God acting, He is acting according to what the people ask of Him, even though they don't realize they are asking.
Okay, so none of us are accountable for our thoughts or our actions, it's all cause and effect with God as the cause. If this is in fact the case then God is to blame for me not believing in him / her / it and if he / she / it chooses to punish me because of this then they're really only punishing themselves.

There is nothing wrong with a person who can't think so well. If you are like that, God loves you, and gives you what you need according to the amount and direction of your faith in Him. Your faith is partially free for you to control. So it is you that is directing God for your life, simply by the amount and kind of faith you have in Him... not by any of the external things that we all seem to have free choice in.

YESTERDAY this happened Huh..

A Muslim school bus driver has been criticised by parents after he stopped his vehicle on a busy main road to pray.

The coach driver left around 50 children, parents and teachers for 10 minutes while he conducted his daily prayers .

Angry mums claim he ‘risked the lives’ of those on board while local Muslim leaders have also condemned his behaviour.

They say there is flexibility as to what times Salat prayers - typically conducted five times a day - are performed.

Mum Claire Powell, 36, whose daughter Heidi, nine, was on board, said: “I was absolutely livid when I heard.

“He just stops on a busy road without any warning, gets out, washes his feet, pulls out a mat and starts to pray.

“There were people swerving to avoid the coach and beeping. He was putting children’s lives at risk.

"At the end of the day he has a duty of care to fulfil. This isn’t about his religion – he simply shouldn’t have done it.”..

And last point go and fuck your mums arse with a cross you fucking gimp Wink Wink..

....His (BADecker's) core beliefs lie in the Bible record. Why is the Bible a record? We can see from the Dead Sea Scrolls, and from other ancient sources, that the Hebrew scribes copied the Bible accurately from the time that it happened.

....Science fails because they do not want to succeed with the truth.

What you call "the Bible" is in fact a literary product, well written with intriguing narratives - with a beautiful storyline. And indeed, it is a record, but it is just that - a historical product to be examined and studied of how ancient cultures functioned. It cannot dictate conduct of life in an indoctrinating "from above" authoritative position. It's ludicrous to believe it can. Besides, the original product know as "the Bible" was accurate only in ancient times. It has been skewed and adjusted to fit with shifting zeitgeist of the groupings following it. It's badly tainted, no more original like it was millennia ago.
The Bible is, at its base and core, salvation words about Jesus, the Christ. It is God's words to us so that we can be saved at the time of the resurrection.

Translations of the Bible into other languages can never be 100% accurate. There is always something lost in translation. But, there is enough in Bible translations so that people can still find Jesus and be saved. How? By God Himself talking to our hearts through the translation words.

Science, my friend, you would have to thank and respect, for it has brought the light humanity needed. I'm not saying science is the end of it all, but without properly engaging life - as science tends to do - we would not have been where we are today.

Science is an ancient thing that started shortly after mankind sinned in the Garden. Modern science includes a bunch of stupid theories that are degrading the term "science" into mixed up ignorance.

Are you now admitting that you don't know how the universe came to be? That would seem to go against your core beliefs that you often post about on this forum.
What are you even talking about? Where have I ever said anything about the way or methods that God used to create the universe? The closest that we have to God's methods is that He spoke some details of the formation of the Earth and life on it into being. God is a spirit. How does a spirit speak? I never expressed how God speaks.
I was talking about the fact that you believe your God created the universe but failed to mention it in your original reply.

Personally I think it's all rather simple, everything is energy and in a constant state of transition from one form of energy to another.
We all seem to have the ability to think things. It is a wonderful thing that we can think. Now lets think in ways that show us the truth, rather than simply making up ideas with out thought.
I agree, thinking is a wonderful thing. It allows us the freedom to explore ideas, notions, reasons, meaning and all sorts of wonderful things within ourselves, free from the judgment of others. It's only when we convey these thoughts that we often open ourselves to the ridicule of others who feel that what we are conveying is simply a whim and not something that has been mulled over for a long time and reached after much investigation, exploration and education.
Universal cause and effect as upheld by Newton's 3rd Law, shows that the things that people think were caused in them. They didn't really have the freedom to think, even though they felt that they did.

Just because we don't currently understand the how and why does not mean that we'll never be able to understand it.
This doesn't mean that we will ever be able to understand it, either.
While what you say is true, unlike yourself I have greater faith in the abilities of human beings. You are coming close to being accurate. Your greater faith in human beings who are pushed into their positions by cause and effect, have God to blame for their actions. When anybody acts this closely to God, there very definitely are great abilities available to them.

His core beliefs are just blind guesses. Big bang and evolution are theories. Theories are stronger than guesses. Of course that doesn't mean they are correct, that's why they are called theories.
Even if tomorrow someone gave us 100% irrefutable proof big bang and evolution were correct, do you think BADlogic would roll over and admit he got it all wrong? Of course not.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
He's not interested in the truth; just his flawed nonsense.

Just ignore him. You cannot educate a clown that refuses to be educated.

Couldn't agree more with your sentiments above but sometimes it's fun to engage people in conversation / debate about our differences. It's not necessarily about educating someone else, but also learning and challenging ourselves.

I believe Jesus salvation is a load of twaddle.

I passed. Heaven here I come....  Wink  Grin  Smiley  Cheesy  Grin  Smiley

Perhaps the Holy Spirit has been able to maintain Jesus salvation in you all this while, because of your infantile humility. But if you continue to NOT confess it correctly, and especially if you continue to express it incorrectly, you will wind up pushing the Holy Spirit out of your life, and losing your salvation.
