If they were good or righteous, they would lift themselves out of their deplorable condition. The poor little buggers above would barely be able to move and you're saying that they're in this deplorable condition
because they aren't good or righteous!!!!!
I think this sentiment from you alone sums up what kind of person you are and if this is a reflection of the teachings of your beliefs then it just reinforces why I reject your religion and choose to be an atheist.
You miss the point, mostly because you want to. You clip out the parts of my post that you want to ignore, simply so you can distract and detract from the truth.
One of the points is that the hundred years or less (usually) that we spend here, is such a tiny thing in the span of eternity that it doesn't, really have any insignificance at all. In addition, once this life is over and the next life is entered, everything here will be entirely forgotten... as though it had never happened.
I certainly don't like the idea of pain any more than anyone else. But should it come on me, I trust that God will hold me for my short 100 years (more or less), so that I come into His kingdom for eternity.
Another point is that the children in the pictures in the links, are young enough that they may not have had the time or ability to cast the Jesus Who made them out of their spirits. Jesus has the ability to hold them, and to give them eternal life in the Kingdom of God. They are not righteous or perfect any more than any of the rest of us. But they are forgiven by God, for Jesus's sake, just like all the rest of us.
The difference between them and you is that they have not had the chance or understanding that it takes to become enemies of God like you are. So, they will be saved, but if you don't change, you won't be.
