perhaps the first Bitcoin coin in the world of crypto and altcoin is a bitcoin follower. bitcoin is nominated all over the world and is acceptable in most places, whereas most people are not aware of altcoin nor have value but are still under Bitcoin.
Aside from the fact that bitcoin is the mother of all cryptocurrency,I think the main reason why bitcoin price is very high because the huge demand of bitcoin in the market and bitcoin has only limited supply so that makes the price of a bitcoin so high.

I guess that somebody must have taken this question very seriously and this could explain the bloodbath of today with BTC's price tanking.
I think because of higher demand of people that's why its price of bitcoin is higher, also because many people get interested to it, so the supply of bitcoin is not enough to all people who wants to hold it, also bitcoin is limited only so i guess they make bitcoin in higher price to supply all people who wants to hold this coin.

I think the price grows because more and more people learn about him, than more buy, the price will be that Vichy in the future, I won't be surprised if he this year reaches 40 thousand dollars.

In the future, bitcoin is going to be higher still. But the reality is bitcoin is not high or expensive at all. Bitcoin is the best money there is and there will be a lots of interest in bitcoin in coming years. Once people can see bitcoin for what it is, there is no telling of it's growth.
Congratulations to everyone on the onset of another "black" Tuesday for crypto currency. Bitcoin is looking for a bottom and talking about his "high" price and wondering "why is the price so high?" already it is impossible. It's time to ask the question: "Why is the price so low ?!" %) I see in this situation only a lot of "opportunities" and not a tragedy. I'm sure most of the community thinks the same. I am pleased to observe all these ups and downs - participating modestly in this historic process. Buy at low levels - I'll sell at 40-45k. =)

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

In this digital worlds, people is the major fortune of any altcoins. As long as the people use and accept it, that is the major fortune for BTC to reach this price.
as far as I know the price so high because of the number of bitcoin available over the counter and getting a little bit more and more devotees.

Because that’s the price at which people are willing to sell bitcoin. There are more people wanting to buy than willing to sell.
