There are many different circumstances, many people simply stop believing in crypto-currencies, because they very often fell into the scam and after that projects cannot raise money for the project, and in other cases, it is an ordinary scam that is very well prepared today.
Not some i guess most of the ICO fails or run away after getting a good bounties or reward. maybe it's because the bitcoin price is down in many times so the ICO following to gets down too. the ICO still adjust their price with bitcoin price although the ICO is using ethereum network, I think the ICO will increase in the future if bitcoin price increases too. but I realize that some of ICO become a fraud and this makes people afraid to invest their money in the ICO.

Maybe we should start looking not for ICOs but for working product which implements blockchain. Those projects might be not so risky as many ICOs starting nowadays. I would recommend to look for REMME project. The token is already tradeble and has strong partners such as Changelly

There are too many reasons that can lead to ICO failure. For example, the fundraising amount is not enough. For example, the team is not strong enough to complete the project product that is expected, such as the product has no market demand! More ICOs fail because it is a scam in itself!

almost ico's now are for short term, once they didnt reached the the first market and all investors are selling their holds. and then slowly froze the updates, the roadmaps are broken. but the team or a management are still in a good profit for selling their own holdings for being hype. while they starting a new project proposal to the public. just a cycle.. thats only my thought.
Maybe we ever see and participated at ico was failed and we have loss payment from bounty campaign because an ico was stop. We will asking to team ico development why is happen and what about payment from bounty campaign ? many ico was failed before they have loss their target about ico sell to investor was little of token sold, or ico was failed because country regulation by government of this ICO, many country is not allowed for ico investment will be run. But many ico was scam by their owner was run away and he bring out all investor money.
In my opinion some of factor that make ICO failed is the team founder not really work and not professional to development the project. And other reason is the idea of the project is not unique and just copy from others project.
Yes now a days its a big problem that some ico are failed in market i think its due to that they not represent much batter way in the market that they attract the people for ico that's why at time of selling it's not reaching expected results which investors want that's why ita failed.

The reason for the failure of the ICO project is very much. But it is mainly because the projects are not potential, the marketing is not good, so they do not attract much investment capital leading to the lack of the soft cap and the hard cap. And the main reason for the failure of most ICOs is that investor sentiment is more cautious in investing in ICOs as there are too many scam projects.

That is because in the first place, they were never meant to be.They intend to copy other ideas and create fake ICOs.
Sometimes too they have a marketing strategy that is weak which leads to them not reaching their softcap.
This is true that some or we could say many ICO's are failing .This is mainly because the lack of investments in the ICO and the ICO fails to get the desired value. Another problem can be from the side of the developing team. The ICO fails to deliver what was expected from it and so does the investors does not show any interest in it.
