hopefully, that can happen. we have long been in a bad condition for the altcoin market. some pumps also only occur in bitcoin. but if this year it all happened the same as in the middle of last year it will be difficult for Altcoin to get the season this year.

Hope is always there even though in the last few years we have experienced the so-called bear market.
What's more this year many big agendas that occur in crypto, especially bitcoin.
If only every project founder had a sense of totality in the project he wanted to build and throw away the greed we would see the growth of altcoin this year.

perhaps , the good news about it is emirex bounty can be a good start for a hope on this year. the project seems successfully ,almost 20x profit from ico price. the only problem about it is just about market who listed that token. coinsbit,vindax,coinlim , all of them just a creep exchange for me.
I think the bounty was already running when it was listed in the market, they are in the 2nd round bounty now. With the amount of bounty they release which is less than $100,000, the exchange listed although they don't get much volume can still accommodate if people will dump.

If Altcoins have any future in financial markets, 2020 is their last hope. In my opinion, cryptocurrencies are the future, so I'm hopeful that in 2020 we will see a lot of positive things when it comes to the development of altcoins and finally we will see the altseason.

There was a lot of IEO that made a ton of profit to its investors this year, a lot of bad ones as well and some of the good ones eventually went down as well but in any case there was that increase and that helped a lot of money revive the old days of ICO. Hopefully this year will be even better, IEO is at its full force and binance with all other big exchanges will have their own IEO funding on full speed, I assume they will make some more profit this year as well, you have to be quick tho, otherwise you may lose money when they go down.
However, the "old" altcoins we all know and love like eth, ltc, dash, ada, monero etc etc all looking good this year as well, I am hoping those will be the ones who will make the most money honestly, that way we could make profit without risking funding new coins.

May be, may not be. The problem with Altcoins is that you can never tell what the team might do to the project. The fluctuations if BTC is already killing them and on that they are losing their community so it's not sure whether Altcoins will make it in future. May be the potential ones.
Altcoins are facing a huge set of problems, while we know that most of the time altcoins need bitcoin in order to go up the interest that bitcoin is getting from investors is too high and it is not leaving anything for altcoins, also due to the scams many are seeing all altcoins as scams and even if this is not true I am not sure how altcoins are going to convince the ones that think like that to change and finally while some altcoins are looking to fulfil their goals most of their developers are not capable of carrying their altcoins to the success everyone wants. 
2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
We all do hope that this year 2020 will bring hope not just for the sake of Bitcoin but as well as into the whole crypto community which includes the existence of Altcoins. It is indeed that year 2019 have given bad impression and reputation to ICO projects due to the recent cases of scams that involves ICOs which makes people conclude into generalization that all projects are scam which is not totally true since there are still a lot of legible and reputable projects existing in the market. We must hope that as this year 2020 continues to get into our calendar, may Altcoins be given a chance to clarify itself that not all Altcoins are scam and they are still worthy of trust and investment and may also be the past experiences in 2019 have leave us lessons to learn about that we must not generalize everything because of a mistake of a single project known to be scam to get into the reputable and legible projects. We must keep in mind that Altcoins are also that valuable like Bitcoin in this industry we are all into so we must continue the practice of investing and using Altcoins like the old times, assured that the Altcoin you have is legible and worthy.

Whenever there is a bull run, many scam projects appear. However, I think that at the moment investors on the crypto market are much smarter and more cautious than in 2017. I think they will invest in ICO / IEO / STO but only in well-proven projects. Also Altcoins will have a chance for new ATH, but only those whose developers are active. It will be a year for good projects, no more scams.
Every new beginning gives new hope so I think this new year will be a hopeful one for the altcoins. But still the question remains to their individual projects. The ones which are contributing big to the development of crypto will grow while those that do not will vanish. This is also a year that is full of hope for Bitcoin.

What happens to Altcoins depends mainly on Bitcoin's price and development. If everything goes as after the previous halvings, then at the end of the year we are can expect a new bull run and also Altseason.

Altcoins have to give altcoins a new hope. For the past 2 years nothing new has ever emerged from the altcoin world, they keep on "improving" but X coin does Y coins thing into their blocckhain and Y does it from Z coins and vice versa so they are all not actually improving but adding each others features into their own without a real improvement to blockchain or altcoin world that didn't existed.
Some maybe improving the current system and doing it better like maybe DASH being more private than it used to be but obviously that is not the issue they have neither. If we talk about learning experience, I believed two years was so enough even if it's kinda exciting experience. There's always hope for each and every asset, since this new year brings more hope for their holdings. Waiting for the perfect time is somehow so very exciting even though smaller chances percentage spikes a promising value.
This is the year that is predicted to be the most successful year of the crypto market and the old investors will soon return because I believe that by 2020 people will have more opportunities to make money.
