The mentality of the people in crypto are so positive, so what if we don't have a good 2019, crypto is still here, altcoins still survives, so we still have the whole 2020 to wait for some good improvement.
now everyone has hope. I know that people are waiting for this year to see the price of altcoin or the season for altcoin arriving. honestly, I also have several altcoins that I think will develop this year. Well, I really hope this year has the same effect as of 2017. this year actually gave new hope, even one of the years awaited by the holders.

2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
We all had bad experiences with altcoin last 2019. Now that a new year has come, we need to be more optimistic and keep up the hope in our heart that altcoins would experience a better change this year. There may still be lots of scams this year but we should use already the lessons we've learned from the past year after participating on those cold-blooded scams and be better upon picking a certain project we'll join. Bitcoin is also halving this year so that should get our hopes higher.

Imo, I don't have much expectations for 2020. I will just keep doing what I have been doing for the last 2 years. Accumulate, accumulate and then accumulate some more. All I know is that when (and if!) the bulls return for alts, I will be ready with some big and heavy bags, hopefully big enough for an early retirement! 
I don't know if we should expect a good price going up movement to altcoins this coming year but as an optimistic person, I don't close the door on hoping that altcoin will recover. Mostly 2017 investors already gave up on putting their money to cryptocurrency cause of what they've experienced. So the last 2 years results are affected by a scam and fake projects.
Yeah, this time I agree with you. After a remarkable achievement in 2017, Altcoin prices have not been able to rise again until now. The endless price reduction makes investors think twice about putting their money in crypto. It could be that the decline in investor interest makes the altcoin price even more alarming. 2020 have come, hopefully the price of Altcoin can provide new hope for traders and investors.

It depends on the Altcoin.. You can't polish a turd. If you invest in some of the top altcoins, I'm sure you'll end up doing fine in the long run. But, don't expect crap to miraculously turn in to diamonds just because it's 2020. Basically, stick to the top coins and avoid everything else. The investment is too risky and likely nothing will ever come of the project.
This past few weeks until now altcoins start to grow even a little so i think there's really a hope then another thing base in the price of different alts now that very cheap i think high chance that this can grow than drops still rely in the news always like if positive of course crypto market will grow and if negative then this will drops then do buy only little by little with cheap price alts with potentials

yes, since the last 2 years in 2018 and 2019 there have indeed been many fraudulent projects popping up, that's because there are many scammers who want to get profits from investors instantly. We all certainly hope that this year will be better than the previous year so that most big capital owners can make good projects and have promising potential in the future so they can drive market price growth.

A big hopes for bitcoin and not for altcoin. Remember in a few months ago ethereum has already done its halving and that doesn't even give a huge impact to the price of altcoin. that's only the price of ethereum was gettign a slightly growth caused by the block halving that already happened in the past. Altcoin needs a good fundamental to follow the bitcoin pump. Bitcoin does it alone without altcoin. Just never try to expect a huge gain for altcoin caused by that. Bullrun is not yet coming and see the altcoin is not getting bearish market is more than enough rather than rush for the bullrun.
Halving does not necessarily lead to a big chance. Just because we have seen it once or twice before does not mean we will see it again for the third time. In fact we have seen the second one have a less effect than the first,,, should it not mean the effect now will be even less?
