2019 had been not so good for altcoins as this year has given us number scam projects and as a result, some of the genuine projects have been failed wherein people just pretended any projects with ICO as a scam. I think 2020 will bring new hopes and some good project in the market by considering 2019 as a learning area.
Honestly, about project i still feel pessimist if developers still think they create project to be rich. Although not all, but there are a lot of developers who think about that. If not, why they already make like salary for their team use token sale funds. If they really think about the project, they will choose develop project is most important thing first.

If we talk about learning experience, I believed two years was so enough even if it's kinda exciting experience. There's always hope for each and every asset, since this new year brings more hope for their holdings. Waiting for the perfect time is somehow so very exciting even though smaller chances percentage spikes a promising value.
So far, the alts are growing with Bitcoin, if this continues, we can hope that the alts have a chance of recovery and strong growth.
It has always been that when the price of Bitcoin falls, the prices of Altcoins fall, and when the price of Bitcoin increases, the prices of Altcoins increase. We just have to wait for what will happen after the halving event in the middle of 2020. Let's hope the Bitcoin price bull run comes along and the Altcoins will follow him. This is the most likely scenario in my opinion. For now, we must be patient.

Many investors learned from their past experience and probably they are now careful when choosing what project to trust. Every new year brings hope thus im bullish this year is good for crypto as a whole.The future of alts or how the market will perform for this year is still uncertain. But I'd like to stay positive and look forward on what's ahead.
Every new beginning gives new hope so I think this new year will be a hopeful one for the altcoins. But still the question remains to their individual projects. The ones which are contributing big to the development of crypto will grow while those that do not will vanish. This is also a year that is full of hope for Bitcoin.

Sooner or later alts will begin to recover and grow, there is hope that this year everything will start, but to start alt season, it takes at least 2-3 years.
You can say that anytime there will always be a chance for altcoin to grow but isn't it the grow of altcoin was also getting affected by the result of development? if the altcoin without a proper development and it will never growth but the opposite thing will happen that altcoin will be dumped instantly to the bottom value. Logically, the altcoin price should increase as the project develops. Unfortunately, but during such a long bear market, even very active developers can not help it. For the prices of altcoins to start rising, the bull run must start and then those with potential will definitely start rising.
I think with Bitcoin becoming more stronger, altcoins will gain the strength too. Altcoins have almost bottomed out. Now they want volume to come back into game again. I think a new bull wave will come and will get equally distributed between Bitcoin and altcoins provided Bitcoin crosses $12.5k mark. At that point traders will have enough money and trust to get into altcoins simultaneously.
I'm pessimistic about another altcoin bull-run. there is a huge difference between 2017 and now. Bitcoin have increased 2.5 times over it's All time low, yet most altcoins have barely gone up and still bleeding. It means actual fiat that average joe pumped in to the market to pump altcoins along with Bitcoin isn't entering the market this time. People have been burned before during the 2018-2019 dump and have wisen up.

most people will definitely focus on bitcoin, many hope that bitcoin will experience a change in market price movements this year. after bitcoin has improved, it's likely that everyone hopes that Altcoin will also experience the same thing and many of us all hope that in the future more potential projects will emerge

I'm not having a good sight for new projects this year to shine, last 2 years are not a good time for new projects and it slightly always going down each year. Investors are more likely to invest in existing good coins rather than investing in new projects

You are absolutely telling the truth here. This is the perfect time for the real project to show up! People are smart enough, they won't invest on a shit project anymore, noob people do so! If a good project comes with even ICO they can raise the reasonable fund easily, what we saw in the Ferrum project. So, I hope this year gonna be great for altcoins, all the old shit coins will die and new and potential alts will stay for a long time.

2019 isnt fully bad for altcoin. In January to July, altcoin was rising but not muchat least, altcoin risen, no matter how much it is. after that, altcoin tend to down
Bearish altcoin isnt fully bad too. from that, most of shitcoin died. and we understand so many shitcoin around us
IMO altcoin is only to pump hard when Bitcoin hits new ATH. which wouldnt happen in the near future
