if the scammers have not given up, any type of project will definitely end up scam like the previous year. altcoin will still suffer.
Even so, I will also hope that there will be something better in 2020, even though I doubt it a little. there should be a good change in the crypto market this year.

basically the development of altcoin in 2018-2019 is not so good. so when we enter 2020, that will be a new hope. we know that altcoin cannot do it alone and needs the help of bitcoin. Other than that, I think IEO will master this year, so I think there are many opportunities and hopes to see the price of the altcoin pump this year.

Altcoin pumping in 2017 was not bitcoin halving effect, i'm sure it's because many investors are investing in altcoin and ICOs that's why altcoin's price was going crazy even the ETH was surpassing bitcoin at that time. So i think right now people are already losing interest with altcoin and cryptocurrency need something new to show if want to hook investors back.
altcoin offers a good opportunity at that time after bitcoin is very saturated entering the highest price zone. they are interrelated because they strengthen the volume of transactions with each other. The Halving effect becomes the initial active trigger of the altseason. I am sure that some old things will emerge with more friendly adjustments for investors, I talked about the emergence of many more mature ICOs with all the preparations and chose to launch this year.

2020 is the year where bitcoin halving is happening again. So there is already a.big chance of a bull run after the halving. If.bitcoin pumps altcoins will follow.
A big hopes for bitcoin and not for altcoin. Remember in a few months ago ethereum has already done its halving and that doesn't even give a huge impact to the price of altcoin. that's only the price of ethereum was gettign a slightly growth caused by the block halving that already happened in the past. Altcoin needs a good fundamental to follow the bitcoin pump. Bitcoin does it alone without altcoin. Just never try to expect a huge gain for altcoin caused by that. Bullrun is not yet coming and see the altcoin is not getting bearish market is more than enough rather than rush for the bullrun.

The crypto community should keep enthusiasm at the highest possible level without looking at the market circumstances. People shouldn't doubt to the cryptocurrencies if they are enthusiastic about it. Giving a bit of doubt will change of what you have been thinking about of the cryptocurrencies. Year 2020 is another year with a bit of a twist I think if the same faith won't happen to us like in 2019. Doubtful, I would love to have an altcoin market that was healthy and in which many real projects came out and the developers really tried to build something, because in that case even if they failed they will become a warning to the rest of the projects that what they tried to achieve is simply not possible with the approach they tried to implement and that is very valuable information, but I think we will continue to see more of the same and scammers will keep doing what they do best and the interest of investors will keep declining. 
well yes hope is always there for us 2019 altcoin instantly loses investors with too much circulation of shitcoin ,that's why new projects are not recommended in 2020 I think leave the thought behind by growing old altcoin for this industry
Yes 2019 was indeed the worst year for crypto and altcoin in general due because most of the scammers created tokens using ERC20 platform and there were a herd of sheep following them blindly and advertising for shit coins and scam projects just to get bounty rewards which were never paid or of no use even when it was paid. I hope bounty hunters as well are project owners does not repeat the same mistake again this year.
in this case, we all expect good things, especially if in 2019 many leave bad news about scammers, even more so on the project. however, I hope that 2020 can cover all the deficiencies from the previous year. Well, I'm pretty happy this year, starting with the high bitcoin price, and lots of good things going to happen in the future.

I hope so.. I believe that Bitcoin should be more bullish next year so it could awaken the altcoins which currently are still sleeping.
The last 2 years of crypto market is not really profitable, altcoins are down significantly, 90% more or less and for sure a lot of investors already left the market, but we have another chance next year, its bitcoin halving so if it will create a new ATH, it would be a fun year.

Many say that after halving occurs, a new ATH will emerge because the price of bitcoin will rise to a higher level, so I don't really believe that I better see further developments compared to having to speculate continuously because it won't make you more profitable.
I just hope that after halving the price of bitcoin will be more stable above $ 10,000 as long as it is profitable for me at that price, it doesn't matter to me.

We always waiting withnew hope with altcoin price can give surprise with higher price, never impossible for altcoin back to higher price again after down many time and have change with bitcoin keep lower price always, just five hours later for celebrate with new year and new hope for altcoin back and give good expectation with higher price.New year new hope but good thing we have strong things coming like the block halving since provably we can see a great result and the bearish streak will end up after that came to create a hype in the market, but we cannot expect to see good things in early quarter of the year since I think it needs process maybe I'm nearly end of first quarter to second we can see a good sightings.

My answer is No. Bitcoin is the undisputed innovation on the blockchain and the rest are all questionable. The thing that many people overlook is that most of the use cases that the altcoins claim can, in fact, be built on Bitcoin, maybe not on layer 1 but upon a higher level in the stack. If you need fast cheap transactions, then use the Lightning network. If you need to generate tokens for niche use cases, then use Liquid network. also new privacy upgrades and the use of higher-level layers will soon also render most privacy coins pointless. I think the main use case of most of the altcoins is for speculating and then trying to accumulate more Bitcoin.

I am still not optimistic in 2020 there will be a bull run so the market conditions are good because there is no visible sign and big news coming market conditions are now in a state of fall and could continue until year 2020
I think everyone and the crypto community expect the same thing so that in the next year everything will be better, after 2019 is full of boredom at the price of bitcoin and altcoin, in fact we see only a few projects that survive maybe about 1% most of them projects that fail , but if there will be more ICO or IEO next year, it should be as vigilant as last year so there will be no more fraud, hopefully next year will be better

we can only hope that 2020 will be better than 2019. I feel optimistic that Altcoin will rise again (like 2017) in 2020. I was a lot disappointed with the scam ICO / IEO project in 2019 but I have to forgotten it.. let's welcome the new year 2020 with enthusiasm and positive thoughts. 
People will always be looking for altcoin seasons and because this year is not good year for altcoin then it's normal if people expect next year will give new hope for altcoin and i wish too on 2020 will be dominated by uptrend and indeed usually i think most of crypto users will expect more after new year but don't mean all of it will according to our hopes and it can be missed anytime depend on market situations itself
