If they will create Bitcoin deposits, they must make BTC loans? I don’t know how it can work. I think that Bitcoin holders don’t trust banks and they won’t give their coins to financial institutions. Also users will face with new risk factors.

maybe that's a good idea in terms of profit that can be obtained banking.
but I think it's impossible for now even for tomorrow. because after all the bitcoin value is so fluctuating and can never be set.

Sooner or later banks will eventually adapt specially when cryptocurrency starts to get very popular and widely accepted. It is either they will start to accept or they will make their own cryptocurrency coin. It is just a matter of time before that will happen, they will need to adapt in order to survive.

I think this is possible in the near future (2-5 years) when bitcoin will be recognized officially as digital asset by governments and financial institutions. When it will happen, most probably crypto banks will join the banking or conventional banks will open crypto divisions specializing on banking services in crypto assets including crypto deposits.

Most banks don't accept bitcoins instead if you want to exchange bitcoins in banks that means you are willing to pay a high amount in bank exchange rates. Bank and bitcoins are not the same thing. Physical currency and crpyto currency are two different things.

We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

what i know is, most of banks will not accept cryptocurrency to their existing system.
but for now, i think they start to accepting crypto for the future. though i don't see any bank yet.

I think we will only see more manipulation if this happens , if the banks will profit of bitcoin going up are down then they are gonna make sure that is what happens. Like someone said above , this defeats one of the reasons why bitcoin was invented in the first place. So maybe they will offer it in the future but my hope is as a community we stay away from it.
Bitcoin should not be accepted on banks because its not a store of assest. Also, its very unlikey that banks would accept large amount of Bitcoin because its very suspicious specially when auditin of their central banks.

Bitcoin is volatile in nature, I hope you will know that and then banks always expect the stable money to deposit them only. If they allow bitcoin as a payment and then BTC price drops and bump there will be big problem for the banking side.
So they may have bitcoin payment as option like alternative option like how we have savings, current and etc.

So far no banks may in some years they will be accepting the bitcoin and alts as a payment option.
Yes, there is a high risk of losing a lot of money but hey, the possible benefit can be so fucking amazing for banks, it really worths to give a small try.
For example bitcoin can be lent from banks for projects like: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.24753848
Also some of them can make dirt deals with Bitmain/Bitfury or other exchangerd and manipulate price + make a unbelievable profit with this manipulation.

I have read a news on this topic today. It's about some financial institutions working on crypto money investment in the US. I do not know the source of the news and the truth. But I think that in a very short period of time (within a few years), the banks will certainly be able to handle this. Otherwise it is not possible. There is an economic value in the middle. Bitcoin and some coins are already a big competitor to the banking sector. If the crypto money sector does not go to cooperate with the banks, we may not see the banking sector that we know today. Because many projects offer much more than banks promises, much simpler. All you need is internet and a PC.

I am absolutely sure that such deposits in bitcoin will not be in state banks, I think that such services will not be available in commercial banks. The price of bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable. Banks do not play such games. They need a one hundred percent guarantee that such a project will be profitable, and in this case bitcoin can not give such a guarantee. Perhaps in the future will be offered other options for deposits and loans in bitcoin. Something similar is already trying to carry out the XOV campaign, organizing for this a new bank through the ICO.

Probably unlikely, but possible. Though why would people do it though. It pretty much defeats the purpose of "being your own bank". I could definitely see people using this service if ever we had it, to be completely honest. Some people just don't want to bother with wallet security and stuff.

If they'd be on a next level of greediness, I'd say they might give it a go though highly impossible. The governments are trying to stop any form of interaction between exchanges and banks, simply because they don't want any interaction strengthen between the two. Also, it would be kind of impractical for people to keep their BTC in the banks since, well, the main reason bitcoin is created is for people to be their own bank, so it would be ironic and imagine the potential profits you might miss. All in all, this sounds improbable and impractical.

Every country have their different policy against bitcoin but one thing for sure that my government are against with my bitcoin so it won't happen.
For me, when bank accept bitcoin it means that bitcoin consider as a fiat although bitcoin is an asset not fiat !

But the main reason for the invention of bitcoin was we no need banks anymore we can keep our bitcoin in our own and we can transact on our own to anywhere in the planet so definitely we don't need banks to deposit our bitcoin.

I dont think banks will ever accept cryptocurrency deposits as they are going to be getting their end when they do that, cryptocurrencies wants to end the banking system why would the banks embraced it?You are literally going to kill yourself if you are the bank, cryptocurrencies are decentralizd and banks are centralized which is contrary to each other.
