We still most preferred bitcoin like in trading, after an altcoin's ICO it is listed on an exchange and sell to BTC. As I observed, when the value of bitcoin goes down also the other coins are following. I believe BTC will always be leading on all crypto-currencies. It has already run for how many years and still on the top and I know it will continue in coming years.
Sure it will be replaced and quite soon I think. Let's be fair - Bitcoin is technologically not perfect and very soon will be out of date. It has a strong support from investors and is well known, but we should remember how fast this market changes. Will see an another leader in 2-3 years or even sooner.
I think Bitcoin will never be raplaced but he will get hard challenger. The most exciting for now seems to be DEEPONION.
I think in 1 or 2 years Onion will be Number 2 or 3 in Crypto. but Bitcoin will be the Number 1 because everyone on the Mainstream just know this one.
I don't think it shouldn't be compared with a competition. I think alternate cryptocurrencies help each other with concerning of value. Of course, it's dependent on how valuable and helpful the altcoin is but still, Bitcoin would still be the one reigning over all cryptocurrencies because that's the most used. Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
For now the bitcoin cannot replaced by anyone cryptocurrenccryptocurrency . but i thimk after 20-30 years? The bitcoin will be replaced is becuase there are many new and high value cryptocurrency than bitcoin will appear . 
There are many people who have said it several times, but in my opinion it's impossible, we said its for DASH, ETH .... etc, the bitcoin remains the bitcoin and the rest of the crypto currencies are attached to the btc
There is no such thing as a sure thing in crypto, we don't hold the future and I am a believer of bitcoin myself but I'm not putting all my money with it. It's still best to diversify so you can also take part of the success of others when some of your investment failed.
Most likely, bitcoin will not be replaced in due course by another crypto currency, but simply to change, freeing from other defects that I have had and improving. Technologies on the spot are not worth it. Everything is moving and mutating. It is possible that under this name there will eventually be something new, unusual for us, but it is much easier and more practical to handle.

Many has attempt to try to create a new coin to replace Bitcoin but none has achieve yet, Eth has a potential but it will never go exceed Bitcoin Price. Though there are many coins that is being created every day or two but most of them doesn't survive after ico most of them are scam so for that Bitcoin will not be replace.
I think this is very possible, now many people make coins and I'm sure 1 among there will be better everything and soon replace bitcoin.
That is not really a reason, there are many coins out there and not a single one has surpassed bitcoin at this time I do not think we should be worried that any coins is going to surpass bitcoin, the only real threat for bitcoin is bitcoin itself, with another fork coming and the possibility that all the miners back that fork, bitcoin is going to be left very vulnerable. For me it's possible, but I think it will take years or either decades or maybe century before that happens.
Bitcoin today is the most powerful above all cyrptocurrencies, but if they can create another one better than bitcoin for sure it will take effect, and will take bitcoin position. But I guess nothing can still go beyond bitcoin.
i think not, but we don't know for sure what will happen in the future. I think it is safe to assume bitcoin or all the cryptos maybe replaced by another type of currency, as of now I can say that bitcoin will be the king of all cryptos, even etherium cant reach a point where it almost equal the bitcoin despite of efforts from its investors.

For me it's a No because Bitcoin is the root of cryptocurrency. The concept of cryptocurrency was introduced to us through bitcoin, the new ones just change their name but the concept is still came from what bitcoin already have. The top four cryptocurrencies today are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin. Among the four, Bitcoin is leading and has a very big gap betwern the other three when we compare their values. Besides, there are more people who used bitcoin other than any kind of cryptocurrency so we can conclude that Bitcoin is unbeatable up to now.
Maybe bitcoin can be replaced by others if there is a new system of finance introduced, nothing is impossible and everything could happen. But for now, Bitcoin is the best
I think bitcoin will not be replaced by another altcoin, because bitcoin is now a benchmark of altcoin , altcoin follow the price of bitcoin ..
It might be possible that BTC will be "replaced" by a new cryptocurrency which will be spread and rolled Out by Big companies in the Future.

I think the the possibility of that is very small, however who knows, bitcoin is the stable coin if compare it with all coins, and check the gap of rate difference between bitcoin and all coins.
Bitcoin will not be replaced by another cryptocurrency as it is far superior than any of it's competitors. The people that are working on Core are the best in the world and have the highest values in the world.
Yes it is possible that bitcoin will be replaced the most suitable for that would be ethereum it is also number 2 in the top coins and i think it is going to go even higher than bitcoin can achieve but bitcoin is also very unpredictable so we will never know.
It doesn't mean that because ethereum is the number 2 in the ranking of the cryptocurrencies then it is the best or suited for replacing bitcoin because there are still a lot of cryptocurrency in the market that has a lot of potential and in the future we can see more cryptocurrencies that can compete with bitcoin and not only ethereum.

For the meantime no. No one can take bitcoin's place. If there will be a superior coin in the future, it still is going to be compared to bitcoin and it's price will still be derived from it.
Yes it is quite possible some other crypto currency replaces bit coin in the digital world which is more secured and more growing in the market but it will take some time for the designers to design such currency. Till that time bit coin will have made its worth and value in the world. Jump to:
