Although Bitcoin is slowly growing in popularity, despite all of its various problems, there remains a certain psychological security in a currency held in one's hand. Moreover, fears of hacking, viruses, and other attacks on the entire financial foundation of a nation via purely digital means will likely make most nations slow to adopt such a form of currency.

If only they will see the good news of what bitcoin brings, maybe that notion will be change forever. Given the fact that bitcoin is dominant in crypto world for a long time as the graph still shows who's the alpha of all the digital currencies. A currency imbued with longevity and so sturdy that withstands against ups and downs and hardforks.
Surely, this digital currency will never show mercy to others giving them no chance of taking its place while this alpha is still around.

We don't know because we don't know about the future,we are not time traveler nor soothsayer,we're just normal people. But that make sense because bitcoin have a lot of competitors and maybe they surpass bitcoin or maybe bitcoin will update and made better bitcoin.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

This actually not impossible. However, when you say bitcoin that is one of the longest online currency around, dating back from 2009, making it the most trusted and preferred by people. So, if there's another that will replace it, it needs a long way for it to work.

I don't think so, maybe it will be taken over but to the point that it will replace bitcoin is not a thing to happen. Bitcoin is unique and it would take more than forever to replace it. If you are going to compare the price with other cryptocurrencies, you will see clearly how bitcoin can not be replaced. The price gap is so big and the second to bitcoin does not even make it to the half of the price of bitcoin so that's why bitcoin will never be replaced.

I think ever and never bitcoin will be replace any crypto coin because bitcoin is all king about Crptoqurency coin and nobody to beat like nee cc or any ETH
you just have change you to Eth to Bitcoin and nothing can beat this

I think the same. As the bitcoin is mother of all crypto currencies it will always be dominating the crypto market.

Bitcoin is one of a kind. No one can replace it. There may come a time where bitcoin will be left behind but the history and things it has contributed will never be forgotten and replaced. Bitcoin has its own features and characteristics that no one can ever duplicate or take over. That time where bitcoin will be replaced by other cryptocurrency is still far. Right now, bitcoin is dominating all the other cryptocurrency and is proving itself on why it is the best cryptocoin of all time.

In year 2010 when i first  known about bitcoin, i believe that bitcoin has a very nice future and today we all know how much price in usd for 1 btc compare to 2010, bitcoin more popular followed by many altcoins from shit coin to the real valuable altcoin like litecoin, ethereum, dash and others.
but in my opinion altcoin never replace bitcoin the reason is that there is  always has to be a main cryptocurrency as a comparison to other alternative criptocurrencies.

I think not, because no coin will be this much supported in this market. Everyone knows about bitcoin and if a new coin will rise up many people would still be loyal to bitcoin like me.

So its very hard to a altcoin to take bitcoins place in my opinion.
If bitcoin will go down altcoins will also go down and most of the time altcoins follow the movement of bitcoin.
The price of bitcoin will rise and that is for sure but we cannot expect it will be replace by an altcoins, let's just say altcoins have a limit and will not be more popular than bitcoin itself.

Not now, but later: yes, of course. It will be replaced by another currency, because of further developed technology.
Bitcoin is not made for massadaption. To slowly, to less transactions per second.
Maybe it will forever be there for savings - hopefully with not much volatility. Otherwise its even questionable if people are using it for savings.

I think Bitcoin has really placed itself in the drivers seat within crypto. But there are now limitations for Bitcoin and there have been some real comptetiors emerging in the market place. One for example is Ethereum which now is able to transfer secure data through Blockchain. I feel many health companies will start to invest within this area.

it's not impossible to happen. We all know that bitcoin has the greatest value in all cryptocurrency, But there is a kind of digital coins that goes ahead of the alt coins, it is Etherium. Eth's value gradually rises like bitcoin then. And I believe that Eth can match the value of Btc someday.

Things can happen, lots of coins and projects of course aiming to be number one instead of number two or below bitcoin, currently the most likely to replace bitcoin is BCH or ETH, if many negative issues continue to happen with bitcoin it is not likely to happen soon.

if replaced it is impossible in my opinion, Bitcoin is only 21 million pieces of coins,
but Bitcoin will continue to dominate the cryptocurrency, because Bitcoin is the first coin and the pioneer of cryptocurrency...
Bitcoin is the father and the price of altcoins depends on the success of bitcoin.
You can already tell by the name itself, they are alternative currency so the original should always be the most progressive.

That's right, Bitcoin is the mother of all coins and it seems a strange thing if bitcoin becomes altcoin.  Cheesy

The possibility is high but all the more exciting because of how many ventures everyone can take. As for me, I'd never doubt bitcoins but eventually, bitcoins won't be king forever so I'm milking the hell out of bitcoins now.
