In this business we do have a lot of speculation about any crypto but in my own opinion, I'll say no other cryptocurrency can replace BTC due to the fact that Bitcoin is the 1st currency and it is original but what I can say is - there's a cypto that can MATCH BTC and I think it is ETH (Not now! but for sure it will happen in the next years).

Nothing is impossible but it is also clear that replacing bitcoin will hard thing to do and i don't think there is a coin that can do it. Bitcoin prices and popularity are increasing day by day. Bitcoin is the longest popular online digital currency ever.

Right now the biggest disadvantage with Bitcoin is the high fees caused by the small block size. When the number of unconfirmed transactions approached the 200,000 mark, 1 BCH was trading for around BTC0.40. Now it has come down to around 50K, and the BCH exchange rates have also fallen sharply.

I doubt that there is any other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years.

With technology, nothing is constant except change. As long as bitcoin follows the roadmap to scale, it will remain dominant. If there is too much bickering and inaction, then competing currencies will take market share away from it. While I think bitcoin will remain dominant for the foreseeable future, I would not be shocked if it dropped in rank eventually.

In my opinion, Bitcoin will never be replaced by another cryptocurrency. That is something impossible because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency and of course the price and its development is way above other cryptocurrencies. Almost impossible, but it might be. That's because we do not know what will happen in the future. We do not know whether Bitcoin can survive in the future. Maybe Bitcoin will be more developed, maybe Bitcoin will disappear. But certainly, the world of cryptocurrency will continue to grow and if Bitcoin will vanished, someday there will surely be a replacement.

I've heard someone said that there's Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin. That's because their developers want to develop protocols that can surpass Bitcoin. We will see later.

I don't think that wiill happen, But it's not possible for other cryptocurrency to replace btc. There are cryptocurrency can beat bitcoins but as of now there is no existing altcoin that can beat btc.
They are called as altcoins for a reason, bitcoin is the original and the most popular, they will only replace bitcoin when people who are supporting bitcoin will transfer their funds to something new, however with the current situation, it seems like there is no chance that an altcoins can beat bitcoins.
Check on the daily volume as that explains a lot, BCH has recently surged but now it's back to its place where it should be.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Yes it would make sense, because cryptocurrency industries is bound to fail if they do not adapt to changes. It would make sense if bitcoin is to be replaced by another cryptocurrency unless it improves itself though I don't see the need for it today but in the future we do not know what kind of currency and its characteristics would be needed the most.
for now, the most potential is bitcoin cash, because the price is so high. but, eventually the price of the coin returns to its original price, and the bitcoin price rises again. well, for now, there is no coin that has high potential to replace bitcoin.

i think indeed, its possible if bitcoin wil be eplaced wlth an additional Cryptocurrencybut i think it will difficult simply because for now bitcoin is the greatest and the crypto pioneerlike now, lots of alternative crypto, the very best from them no-one can substitute bitcoinri

It's still possible but very hard. I don't think it will be replaced by another coin. The position of bitcoin is strong enough and its demand is also high by the society.

I don't think so but it's maybe because once a thing become popular there's a lot of imitation come. So if there's a lot of imitation many people will also depend on the other crypto currencies that can also help them. But I hope that bitcoin will be strong and will become have longer time.

for me there have been a lot of other alt currencies (litecoin, etc) that have been popping up, but don't seem to have what Bitcoin does. I think down the road potentially, it may replaced bitcoin.

Things can't be predict in the future. I believe there is nothing that could not happen in this world. But at the moment, based on a lot of statistics, i believe for more 4 or 5 years bitcoin could not be replaced by any other Crytocurrency because bitcoin is now has the most potential, more and more investors would spend spend their money on this digital coin. Things happen when we less expected so we can't tell nothing about the future

Some people say that BCH will defeat Bitcoin, but I'm not sure in that so far. Bitcoin is father of all cryptos, it cannot be taken over until someone does that intentionally.

Bitcoin can be replaced with a new crypto in the future. It's a natural event. Bitcoin will experience this situation as with any technology that can't keep up with technological advances. What is the reason for living Forks? Isn't Bitcoin now inadequate? No one would dare attack Bitcoin if Bitcoin was on a pleasing level for everyone.

Well its quite Difficult because bitcoin will be the Head of all crypto currencies. There's no other altcoin that they will beat bitcoin. If there are any crypto can replace bitcoin i would believe it will be Ethereum.

The situation wherein an altcoin will overcome bitcoin may indeed happen.  But it will still be a long way to go.  Bitcoin now has gained the trust and confidence of alot of investors,  therefore replacing it as their primary cryptocurrency will be a hard thing to do. Because of this we can expect tht bitcoin will still be number one in the coming years.
