For me there are two reasons why bitcoin and other cryptos exist and thrive. 1. the ease of internet access and 2. people believing and participating.
If one of those reasons disappear then it certainly is a fast painful death for cryptos. Internet is here to stay forever not unless a catasthropic event like an asteroid hitting earth would happen and would end humanity. Now, as for my 2nd reason, 1 major FUD or banks, governements or powerful people coming up with something that would render the existence of cyptos inefficient or useless is certainly a possibility. I am pretty sure someone or a group of people somewhere on earth is devicing a plan to stop cyptos. So be careful especially those who are investing just for the sake of profit. Bitcoin is now the most used, most valued and most famous digital currency and has a very good impact on people. I don't this is i easy that bitcoin will end as bitcoin works on the people who use it and some people will never stop using bitcoin and always trust in so it is impossible for bitcoin to totally end or any other currency to replace it.

Bitcoin will never end,the thing that is happening now which we are witnessing is just the beginning of the success of bitcoin. The success of bitcoin today is actually building the success for its own glory for the future, wanna know why? Because it will be the inspiration of the cashless society of the future which is better than what the world has today that we live in and experience. This will ignite altcoins to take their own territory in the future like bitcoin 8s doing now.
Bitcoin will never end because the price of bitcoin is increasing more everyday specially now that more people are getting into Bitcoin a lots of them are starting to notice and realize how good and promising it is and when the demands grow. Yeah possible but that means we are back in the dark ages, remove the internet and electricity then this bitcoin will end but for now the future is bright. The price is continually rising. To answer your question if its too late to invest now, well it is never too late, its just that the price equivalent of the money that you have when you invest in bitcoin will be much smaller. You just need to buy at the lowest price possible then sell when its high.
Everything comes to an end but today and the next more years will not be the end of bitcoin. Maybe in the upcoming more more more years. Maybe another cryptocurrencies will pump and level the value of bitcoin today but of course bitcoin will continuously increase its price and will always lead the digital currencies but bitcoin can't be replace by another crypto.

You know theres no such thing as infinity, we can say that Bitcoin will possible end just like the other currency before in which they were gone because people find something more valuable and usable according to their way of living. As I have seen this past few weeks Bitcoin is doing a great job, its price is very expensive , yes it will end but not possibly soon.
