ethereum prices will never be able to pass or beat the price of bitcoin even though in the next few years ethereum will not be able to do that because ethereum demand is less than the demand for bitcoin.

There's always a possibility but in 2019 ? I dont think so because the current value of ethereum right now is less than $300 so ethereum really need some huge support and hype from investors to reach bitcoin price.
Ethereum will never surpass bitcoin as it is only one of many altcoins. I believe that bitcoin technology itself has no competitors.

If we will look at the current market situation, it would really seem to be not possible. The market value of Bitcoin indeed fell but so do ethereum's market price. If nothing positive will happen in the market, Bitcoin will remain on top of ETH given that there is a huge gap between their market value. But I am not saying such thing is possible but for now we should mind waiting and being patient. 
I don't believe that ethereum will ever pass bitcoin in 2019. Not even over a decade that ethereum can able to make it because bitcoin is just too established and that it already owns the cryptoworld.
no one will surpass BTC,altcoin with the best technology though, because btc is the first crypto, and all crypto exchange on average using a btc pair
indeed many altcoins have already issued their own exchanges and used the pair on the coin using smartcontract technologies such as eth, xlm, neo, eos but will never exceed btc

I believe, like many, that in the near future, no altcoin will exceed the cost of BTC. Especially ETH.
I doubt. Look at the price now at the ethereum and at bitcoin. In addition there is no reason for a sharp drop in the price of bitcoin.

this issues built last year a go when ethereum price is good and so many ICO success with hardcap, 2017 i think ICO's year but now all market like walking but not so fast like last year and still bitcoin domination above 51 percent, no altcoin will pass BTC.
I think that possibility of this is comparably low, ETH will probably grow stronger but not as much as it is needed to replace BTC surely.
I am 100% sure that it will not happen. The popularity of Bitcoin is extremely high. Ethereum is good mostly for the people, who have been dealing with the cryptos and ICOs for long.

Will we see new peak prices in 2018? Unfortunately this may not happen. I have now turned my big expectations into 2019. The Ethereum has lost a lot of value, I hope it will soon recover.
ETH never recovered more than $ 500, and ETH was not able to rise above the BTC. That's exactly what I think, I do not believe the market will recover this year or 2019. It will probably be a long time. So who is patient enough to wait.
no it will never pass BTC and no other altcoin will likely surpase btc , interms of price they indeed will surpas their previous all time high when the bulls ar eback!

Everything is possible to happen in cryptoindustry but if ever ethereum would be able to surpass Bitcoin, I don't think that it would be next year but rather, more years would come for that thing to happen since there is a huge difference on their market value and also, negative market behavior is dominant at this moment.

There is a possibility but I think its not in year 2019 because ethereum needs a huge support in order to reach a $1000 value but what if the current value of bitcoin which is almost $6000?

Wait? In my opinion it is impossible for ethereum to pass bitcoin in year 2019 because right now the value of ethereum is almost $300 so it needs a huge boost to reach the current value of bitcoin.

Even if recovery would take place after long period of downtrend, it seems to be impossible for Ethereum to surpass Bitcoin in terms of their market value given that there is a huge gap between their market prices. Both are indeed considered to be the best cryptos in the cryptoworld due to their reputation and well established cimmunities from the previous years so it would be exciting to see whst next year would bring. 
Of course, now with the market unstable it is must to see outcome that will come to realisation beginning of Q3 2019. year.
