When price of ethereum grows above certain value the market capital might grow high. Overcoming the price of bitcoin won't take place, as the market of ethereum too has a dependence on bitcoin. Ethereum can be seen more stronger than ever as more and more ico were upon ethereum platform.
It is unlikely that ETH will not be able to overcome the BTC price in 2019, as the exchange rate difference is quite low compared to the BTC, although ETH is preferable.
I just agree that ETH will have chance to pass Bitcoin in the future but I don't think it can be fast like that 
. I don't think in 2019 ETH price can higher than BTC price . At the moment, price of BTC is higher than ETH price more than 10 times and it's a really big problem for ETH to be able to pass Bitcoin in the future

It will still a big question in 2019 i suppose since ETH is being used in almost altcoins as a platform of trading different tokens that are compatible with ERC20. Some may say it's good because maybe it is ranked as second in coinmarketcap but i guess it will stay at the second rank always IMO.

Ethereum for me is the best coin right now, because Ethereum got lot of projects, smart contracts specially. There are many using Ethereum now most are ICO. I believe that ETH will surpass Bitcoin soon, but not in 2019. 
I don't think so. Bitcoin will be the no.1 crypto in the market for a long period of time. As you see the market. Everytime bitcoin fall all crypto drop their value as well. So i think no crypto will pass bitcoin.
Ethereum had the ability to be the number one crypto in the market. But i think 2019 in not yet the year of ethereum. It will take a little bit more time before it will pass bitcoin.
It does not matter how many bitcoins competitors will have, Bitcoin will always be the main crypto currency. All tokens will follow the bitcoin and develop simultaneously with it.

No, ETH will never pass Bitcoin as it is treated as a currency while ETH is treated like a paper (smart contract).
In early days of the world, a piece of paper in which a contract was written was expensive for common folks. Now? A paper is too cheap as you can see and buy it everywhere, just like what will happen on ETH. On the other hand, tokens that exist above it might be.

Many people say that the increase in meal time will be very good, and that is true for Bitcoin who is advancing for the next few years the better, the more relations will happen in the next few years, because the ETH will be under it as Bitcoin followers as now, not there is a great chance to beat Bitcoin and for new coins will never be able, Bitcoin controls all this, so do not expect to go ahead without Bitcoin.

I think that in 2019 not yet, but could be very close, in 2 or 3 years then it could pass Bitcoin, Ethereum provided to us stable platform and people will know more about crypto and if they meet ETH and its price, it's better than investing in BTC.
In my opinion, ethereum will not pass bitcoin in even 2029 because those who predicting that underestimate bitcoin's real potential as a world currency, it will be far ahead of eth in the future.

I think it is not possible. Bitcoin is the one of the best coin in the crypto market. Passing over bitcoin for eth is not a easy work. Still there is no coin in the market which have ability to cross bitcoin. WIll ETH pass BTC in 2019 ?
i think too fast if we talk about it right now. as we know the bitcoin still very dominance, i see almost all coins follow bitcoin trend about pump or dump. but to be honest i'm one of a fan for ethereum, and i say it really difficult for now.

Well everyone is waiting for this moment and ETH needs only move to cross the BTC but there is a huge gap between these two. If btc goes down continuously and ETH goes up continuously then it is possible. Up till now both are dependant on each other if one is down as well. No one exactly knows what will happen in 2019.
