I do not think Ethereum will pass Bitcoin..Bitcoin will always be number one..Ethereum will continue to be 2nd behind Bitcoin.

You do not specify in exactly what aspect you want ETH to surpass bitcoin but supposing you mean the market cap, the short answer is that is never going to happen, bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies in my opinion there is not a cryptocurrency that can surpass bitcoin, something with a completely new technology will need to emerge, some claim hashgraph could do it but the fact is closed source is a fact that will not allow to surpass bitcoin at all. 
BTC is more powerful Crypto currency so ETH will never beat in 2019. This scenario both the coins are down in the market but still many of them used in ETH technology and Bitcoin adoption also slowly increase in market. These two are good platform but top rank is maintain by BTC.

I do not think so. maybe Ethereum is more technological, but Bitcoin is the king and most importantly-a favorite speculative tool of whales. as long as the whales need bitcoin to manipulate the market, it will remain in the first place
Eth can not be able to pass bitcoin in 2019 though it has a very good potential and technology, it will remain the best altcoin and queen of crypto while bitcoin will remain the king and best crypto. Its price will continue to rise because it will gain more popularity.

Yes Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency.In my opinion there have no altcoin who can beat bitcoin.Etherium is one of the best altcoin there have no doubt.But it can't beat Bitcoin in 2019.
I do not think it's going to happen. Because we watched ETH very much in the face of bitcoin until a few months ago, but with bitcoin drop, Eth also became a place. I could have held it for a while and I really thought that a bitcoin would pass.
I don't think so, It wont happen because ETH is an alternative coin for bitcoin so an alternative works like a shadow and a shadow could never beat the owner of that shadow. BTC like a mother coin.

Well I think with this current value of BTC and ETH I think ETH wont pass BTC value in 2019 because even if the value of BTC drop down for now still it has a large gap compare to ETH so theres no way that ETH pass BTC next year.

I don't think ethereum can overtake or can pass bitcoin, it is very impossible to happen, because bitcoin is the main coin that introduce by cryptocurrency business from the start, when cryptocurrency business was born. And the management of cryptocurrency business develops bitcoin as the leading coin when we compare to any newly born coin today and those newly born crypto coin today are very far from bitcoin status, and even ethereum develops it's market value today but that is not a reason that ethereum can over pass to bitcoin, because the price of ethereum is also very far from bitcoin price, and ethereum price is only belong to hundreds and not even happens that it becomes one thousands, unlike bitcoin price that reach up to $20,000 before.
Yes it will. BTC has already conceded dominance to the "rest of market", at current market caps with ETH about half value of BTC its quite likely to catch and become the largest coin within 12-18 mth. This is nothing to fear.

In my opinion although ETH has a great potential to surpass btc but 1 year is so short to break btc legacy. If we look forward on the popularity then I think ETH has already caught up with btc.
