Yes we could go cashless, But in some area & condition it is impossible to go totally cashless. Just imagine how if the network are unstable or maybe down, in some moment like that we still need cash right?

In my opinion, we could go cashless in the future because we might be using already our own phone or a gadget that can already store our money and send them or use them in transaction with a ease.

I think that in 20-30 years the cash will become rare. It is difficult for me to predict how fiat currencies can evolve, but cryptocurrency will probably be very popular by this point.

Of course, one day it will happen and humanity will really give up cash, but it will not be soon and I do not think that even in this version people will choose cryptocurrencies for use on a permanent basis.

The abolition of paper money is an old dream of world governments. Full identification of a person as an individual and complete control of his financial activities will lead to our complete dependence and total control of governments. Everything goes to this and nobody will ask us about it. It's sad.

It not likely to happen that cash will be abandoned or forgotten quickly.  It takes large percentage of educated society to latch on to technology and adopt it in to their lifestyle.  Cryptocurrency will be leading in digital money and crypto start up need to start working seriously on ease of use for average user!
Cash already exists over a period of two thousand years and is unlikely to disappear in the coming centuries, further, I don’t know, though. Who would not say about cryptography, not all sectors of society will use it. This is a very specific type of virtual money that requires certain knowledge and practical skills, not all people will be ready to do this and spend their time on it.
In addition, no state will abandon its national money in favor of cryptocurrency. And this is simply impossible.

I think it could happen, only time will answer. but seeing the decline in cash which began to be replaced by checks, ATM, etc., it is not impossible that people will leave cash that provides dozens of shortcomings, efficiency and even counterfeiting, they will switch to crypto, even though this takes time very long.

I think in the near future Cash Disappear
Any proof? If it's just because you are only "using" cryptocurrency and think cash is useless? That's stupid.

This will definitely happen and it will have to happen soon, because today there are a lot of cases when the market really becomes very attractive to use electronic payments, but today there are so many opportunities to use regular cryptocurrencies.
It's not. Do you ever read that some countries banning cryptocurrency because they are afraid it could be used for illegal crimes and stuff and ruined the whole economy system in certain country,

I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley

despite the introduction of new forms of payments being presented nowadays, cash would still continue to exist and still be the standard means of exchanging products, services, or goods. There is just a means of providing convenience to cash that people tends to patronize despite the advantages of using cashless money.

Yes, we will come to the point that we dont need FIAT anymore.
Time will come in the right place that people will have the cryptocurrency in our community.
Everything will be in crypto and every country will have their own national cryptocurrency.

I think that it will happen in the near future because cashless transaction has already been practice this time but it only applies to civilized persons and society because their are still people and locality that not yet connected to digital world.

I don't think there will ever come a time when cash will fade out entirely. Cash serves its purpose, digital currencies makes more sense anyway, but not in every scenario. Imagine telling some local people in interior villages that you will pay them in digital currency, sounds weird because there are still people who have not and will not adopt technology so soon. I think both crypto or other digital currencies existing with cash still make sense, and that's how it will remain.

People could rustically stop using cash in general if they were very involved with Bitcoin or more Cryptocurrencies.

In my own opinion, time will come that humanity will stop using cash because they will start to be convenient in online transaction or using virtual currency like bitcoin. In the future, no doubts that almost everyone in the world are using bitcoin because bitcoin is getting popular today.

I'm sure in the future no one will use Cash money. and I see that at the moment there are many alternatives to cash cash, one of which is E-money. in my country E-money is popular, usually used for payment for parking or pay for food

Cash will still exist in one way or another.  It may not be fiat though.  There is an ingrained incentive to use something not electronically traceable, with no names or identifying information attached.  This could take the form of some other commodity, or even a solution no one has yet to imagine or envision.  Only time will tell, but I don't think there will be a global 'cashless society', not of the market-created variety.  The possibility for imposition is another story, altogether.

I think cash is still in use in the near future. Many countries still do not meet the infrastructure for electronic payments that are available everywhere and in underdeveloped countries, which is even slower. You can watch movies about the future, where your money is just numbers but for that to happen I think it's too long
