I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley
I doubt that cash will ever disappear, cash is the easiest way to pay and besides everyone likes to keep cash to see them )

Humanity is doing it right now. I am using cash, once a week and I hope I am not the only one. People are using bank accounts and online payments every day, because it is much more comfortable and when people will realise that crypto is even better, we will moon.

Cashless is a futuristic event and it will happen actually, but giving up cash is not true, cash is a monetary item backed with the government, and it could not perished, whatever happens in the future, there could always be cash, people will always have it and use it in every transactions, that is why, banks is strictly monitored with their respective central banks.

I think it's inevitable that cash will Probably still exist for 20 years, but soon humanity will begin to use newer and better technologies and cryptocurrencies and cash will remain in the past.

On my own opinion that will not happen. cash is the basic  needs for transactions and not all part of the world is accessible by internet and not all people has knowledge about cryptocurrency.

I don't say more just I will say a little word, But maybe you will laugh to me on my word. I like to see that what you mentioned in your post. If we look at the technology then we can assume what is coming in near future.

my  opinion  cash might not be lost or not everyone in the economy understands crypto currensy, not everyone is capable and wants to have a pc or an android cellphone. There are some people who also believe that real money is more flexible .

I have a view, Crypto money will grow in the future, but to replace cash, that is not possible.
the use of crypto money will be used in several things such as when buying and selling online, understanding and other services, for traditional markets will use FIAT money.

Yes, you can dream, everyone sees the future in their own way and the crypt, too, in the future may change its value in contrast to today's

cash is not the most convinient kind of money. plastic cards, smartphone pay is much more convinients. but htere arizes the question of security. and decentralized cryptocurrency is the answer.

However, cryptocurrencies do not yet solve the issue of convenience, and this is one of the most important aspects of using money. Credit cards do not allow you to carry around a bunch of cash, and transactions on them occur quickly, but there are still few solutions in cryptocurrency that meet these requirements.

We have been moving this way for the past few years already. Today, we mostly use credit cards instead of physical money. Crypto is the next step

Everything goes well. Cryptocurrency captures the world. Many people have already refused cash, all on cards.

About this you can read the works on the socialist models of building a state. But all this, of course, the theory. If you do not take into account the psychology of people. You can create communism (not socialism) on the entire planet, and then you will not need money. But a certain circle of people who have concentrated all the main resources of humanity will never share them, so communism is a dangerous enemy for them.

Cash is like water, Human and nature can not done without it. So also is cash though man made, it will continue to be the medium of exchange for unforeseeable future. Having said this, cashless transaction will gain traction and cryptocurrency will be leading in this regard!

Yes, this I believe is true. The processing power and network bandwidth that can accommodate a blockchain that can process every single transaction on earth in just a few seconds are already being developed. Expert says that it's only a matter of 15 to 25 years before it's achieved. If that happens, cash may become obsolete.

Early or late, but it will happen. Part of the transaction will take credit cards, and the rest - cryptocurrency.

Then it is possible that we might be paperless or coinless in the future. I think we will go pure digital through crypto.

Yes it's very possible that the developed countries will be paperless and coinless very soon. But what about Third World countries? I don't  think there is the stable internet or any other kind of network somewhere in the middle of Congo or in the Mongolian steppe!

everything can happen in the crypto world, even if it is possible in the future, crypto will replace fiat money, but if you look at it from crypto conditions now, it will still be very long, especially now there are still so many countries that prohibit crypto

Yes, We can go cashless in the future. But I don't think that all people will switch to crypto. There will be people using banks cards also. Because there are so many people out there who still don't believe in Crypto. Who knows if in future we can see a combo of banks along with crypto. As with the rise of digitization, less cash will be used in market.
If you are talking about tangible currency such as papers or coins. Then it is possible that we might be paperless or coinless in the future. I think we will go pure digital through crypto. This cryptocurrency that we are using is just a start
