Announcing MyEtherWallet v3.24.00: Difficulty Bomb&Updating blockchain
Due to the complexity of the Bomb and the increased risk of hacking, we pushed a rather drastic update that implements a number of changes and improvements, including enhancement of efficiency and scalability of the blockchain, acceleration of transaction speed, and additional security in the form new formats private keys which will help protect users against hacking.
If you are using private key or UTC, then you need to go into the wallet and update manually, otherwise they risk being unprotected.
How do i update my Ethereum wallet?

2. Unlock your wallet using your Keystore File (UTC / JSON) or simply use your private key.
3. Click Unlock and wait for the update.
Please note that you need to manually update your wallet, failure to do so may result in funds being lost.

Always when there is a serious situation, immediately there are pissimistic moods and there are those who pour even more oil into the fire. Immediately, those who were originally anti-Crypto-currency, start gloating and saying how right they were
i agree, someone catch the train when the speed was maximal, and now when the train slowed, they think that it will stop, should think better
True, ico looks more like crazy jungle in crypto space, many are just jumping in to market for money sake and some are in for issue sake ,while some are here for the main technology to be improve, but can it be eradicate ?
I don't think so ,even if 9% of them are scammer there will still be a better one's ,for people to buy and invest in ,even with the rate it's going , so we have millions of token lining up in market with no use case or in any way contributing to the blockchain development.
Let just do our own research very well to know better one to get in to or even stay away from them till they proof otherwise by entering market and have good return.

If ICOS will end in 2018, most of the members of this organization will banish and that is a disaster because is a great number of cryptocurrency users. It will greatly affect the crypto community. So ending ico is just next to impossible.
We are already witnessing the gradual death of many projects. Of course not all will die, but only weak projects. Strong and interesting projects will remain on the market. ICO most likely will cease to exist in the format in which it exists now.
In the year 2018 ICO recently grew a lot. But there's something to be aware of that from the many new ICO is not all good. And this became our attention before following the ICO project. You should look for the ICO project can develop its products and token entry in Exchange.

The problem is that the number of ICOs is much larger than the number of investors. As a result, we get that 90% or even more projects are not successful. Plus there is a problem in the amounts that try to collect ICOs. These are huge sums and are more suitable for launching spaceships than for blockchain creating.
If the market situation does not change and the number of scammers will remain the same, then I think it is quite possible, since the belief in this area has almost disappeared.
I do not think ICO will die. A lot of honest people are working hard for the ICO market to thrive. ICO is some kind of business and was build by every businessman who runs a project to improve and to contribute in crypto world.
From my point of view ICO will never die, but their popularity will decrease constantly as more than 80% of ICOs become sooner or later scams.
A much better option is to invest in non-ICO projects. Risk is not that high and usually behind these projects you will find strong and dedicated communities.

The process of collecting money with ICO, can never die. The question is how to make us reduce the number of deceived people who invest in crypto projects, and begin to regulate ICO.
