You could go down the list of new ICO'S each week and because there are so many you could pick half and in my opinion all could die in 2018. Just too many

ICOs like the start-up in business. It's hard to say ICO will be die because it's business. New businesses are coming day by day , just they're a mixed and you have to spot the good one to invest in.

I really hope that ico in the future still continue to exist so life does not return bad Because now to find work offline is very difficult and definitely takes a relatively long time to get a call. Therefore if ico to experience the destruction will automatically make the amount unemployment is increasingly rampant and the country will not make progress.

There was good ICO's, bad ICO's, and scams too, but I think they will not die in 2018, actually there will be lot more of them. And about 2019 no one can know now. We will see how the things are going in q3 and q4 of 2018...

I think more regulation would be better for ICO in 2018. We would get rid of all the scams and other bad purposed people. This would make the quality of ICO high next year. I support moderate regulations.

Who will regulate ICO? It seems to me that this is now impossible. The government has not yet passed a law that could streamline the crypto currency and everything connected with it. Maybe in a few years it will be possible

If ICO disappears, what will we do with you? To buy and sell coins on the exchange is not interesting. The idea of ICO for me is very interesting, you can choose a product, learn about the project more, become a part of it at the very beginning. Buying coins on ICO - you not only hope to make a profit, but also help the idea to get on its feet and be realized.

Seems like ICOs almost dead already.
Next year they will die for sure.
I don't think so. It will be very difficult for ICO to die provided people are ready to take the risk of investing.

Hardfork posed a threat to ICO, everyone pushed hardfork then got new coins.
this is easy, the biggest risk is that hardfork produces nothing but popularity.
nothing interesting besides ICO.

I'm a Newbie. Please Brief What do you meant by ICO.

ICO stands for Initial Coin offering. It's basically a way to 'invest' into a new coin/project. People pay money through btc/eth/etc to a group/business and give you a share of the coins/new tech they will develop. Similar to an IPO where you buy shares of a company.

I do not think ICO will die, most likely the authorities of the countries will be more attentive to such a process as ICO, but in general I think we will also be able to invest in ICO at our own risk. After all, ICO is a voluntary collection of funds for the creation of a project.

I have heard the information that every day three ICO project appear in the world. Of course most of them are nothing. This tendency couldn’t fade away. But the sphere of ICO projects needs more tough rules.

I don't think it will. A lot of honest people are working hard for the ICO market to thrive.

ICO should be more regulated by now because of the scammers, but if it's regulated then it will be centralized not decentralized.

This is difficult to solve right now.

If ICOs funding projects see the day, i think we will see it as a good tool like kickstarter. The number will be reduced, because scammers will not see it as a good business and will turn to the next big fast crypto thing.

This could mean that it can be a good way of getting some money, not as it is right now, but it will be another toll to invest, like trading, lending, etc.

But if ICOs devs don't see it like this and only scam projects will use it, in the middle of next year, ICOs will slowly but surely die.

Hop not. Cheesy

It is very difficult to get rid of ICO, as most successful startups start with ICO.
