No, i don't think that ICO will die in 2018, ICO will keep shining at least about 5-10 years ahead, it's because there are a lot of ICOs that became very huge and successful, even there are scam ICOs out there, but it won't make all of ICOs die
ICO's will not dies as long as there are investor who are ready to go on big risk for big profit. My guess is that the ico's in 2018 will move to New level, And everyone would invest money only in good project and did not their investment. I believe ico's getting development every month because of the users.

I think ICO will not go down from my understanding ICO`s are the fund raising of the project the more investors the higher the price will be if it is listed on markets but they also have their interest in their product.
How can you say ICO will die in 2018, as day keep breaking needs for more and more advance technology will rise and the need to develope them will always be there so the need for new coin and tokens in the crypto market will always be there and ICO is the major ways to introduced new coin to the market.
They won't die, instead they will rising and developing into more good ICO, its a process and I see that they are progressing to a better project. This industry is a really interesting.

i think its no. because the ICO creating new altcoin. and what i know its more growing then last year. you see in the bounty thread. maybe if die in this year i think its hard to say that. because ICO still booming.
i got your point dude, but if this is your basis why is it that the creating a normal company still exist. There also big distrust among them, there also big scams to look for. The Idea behind is to make this industry regulated, consolidate all the relevant things in order to make ICO more legitimate than before. The moves of big countries regarding cryptocurrencies states the idea of mine, you don't need to extinct it, find the problems and fix it. Because that's the nature of us humans.

ICO is a powerful and much better way to raise cash than IPO's which are riddled with too much bureaucracy and barriers to entry.

I think not, Around the end of 2017 (when hardfork almost happens every month, even every week happens hardfork), there is the issue that 2018 will no longer exist ICO, because just enough wirh hardfork, but now still there are ICO.
There are new existing ICO. There will be more new projects that will come. I believe that ICO will exist this year. I also believe that there are new good coins will come soon.
