This year is very weak for all cryptocurrencies. I don't see a winner in this red market. The entire market adapts to bitcoin
BTC and ETH, I like both. That two coins are the goals people join in crypto. But if you ask me who will be the winner between BTC and ETH in this year than the answer is definitely Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best coin ever. I am sure BTC will remain the king of all coins. ETH will not replace BTC.
In my opinion, this year winner is again the one and only bitcoin as it has 43% of total market capital of this crypto currency world today and no coin can match it in near future.

eth fees for its transaction are more cheaper than compared to btc and i dont think that eth can surpass it but transaction fees are not the indication if eth can beat btc . infact , low transaction fees are more good than a higher ones because all of us do value our money .

I think ETH has the best edge this year. Many ICO promotion which is all connected to ETH. As the popularity of ETH increases its volume will also increase and it would really affect the price in the near future.
Not this year. Ether will beat bitcoin, but with time. At the current moment, bitcoin firmly holds the leading position among the crypto-currencies. However, the air every year, month strengthened, improves its network and naturally attracts more and more attention to itself.

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

iTS STILL QUITE EARLY to determine who can be considered to be the winner between these two, None of the coins so far has had a good year as the bearish ,market dominated from arly in the year and most have lost quite a good value on them,The year has not ended yet though and there are still chances that they may both end it on the high note, then we shall be able to deciude which one has had a god run
I expect very good growth from bitcoin and eth this year, but still I'm hanging out more to strengthening bitcoin's leadership, the eth will remain on the second place and the gap will grow.

if I think that Bitcoin will always be a winner among the other coins, especially if seen from the development of Cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin still has the highest price. so BTC will always defend the throne as altcoin leader.
