Bitcoin's price is so high that it's so hard to beat in the near future, I think Bitcoin will still be the winner of the year, I think Ethereum still has to work hard and takes a long time if the ETH wants to win against BTC.
Guys from bitmayn very much I worry about the price of Bitcoin. I think this year the exact leader will remain Bitcoin.

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

The winner of course is bitcoin because it is unique,in great demand,supply is limited.
In my opinion, the idea of ETH will surpass BTC is a bit difficult since BTC is the pioneer of this world. But regarding their chance of profit, I prefer ETH because of its smaller marketcap.
Ethereum's advantage is that, statistically, it falls slower than bitcoin. As for the growth prospects, I think the fair price for the Ehtereum is in the region of 2-3000 dollars per coin.
Now the situation is very unclear on the market and nobody knows what will be ahead of big growth or fall again, but in my opinion this year the favorite will still be lost BTC, since he is the king of this market

btc is still on top, ethereum will always be on the second place after bitcoin, it wont replace bitcoin for being on top. because bitcoin is still better than any other altcoins in the market. I think Ethereum and Bitcoin will not win by the end of this year, they will stay at a stable price, and here I see there is a prediction error if you compare eth with BTC because eth is not possible to pass BTC in any condition.

for my opinion i think BTC still best option because of its limited supply only 21 million . but ETH network conducts more transactions at a higher speed than bitcoin, 99% of the alternative coins are based on the ETH network, judging by the use of of course the ethereum for me this is both Both ethereums and bitcoins will be winners this year in addition to many other altcoins. I believe with BTC coins because currently the price of bitcoin is still decreasing and not yet rising therefore I am sure the winner of this year's coin is Bitcoin while for Ethereum now also go up and because I know if the price of Ethereum decreases the price of bitcoin and altcoin will go up and can returns well at the end of the year

In this year it is not yet time for bitcoin to be replaced with another coin, bitcoin is still the strongest and will remain the main coin in crypto, holding bitcoin is still the best for profit.
although in 2018 this bitcoin price down but I still believe if the winner bitcoin,
rather than make us curious we better follow its development until the end of the year
